What’s This TV Show About?
Airing on the Amazon Prime streaming service, Goliath stars Billy Bob Thornton, Nina Arianda, Tania Raymonde, Diana Hopper, Ana de la Reguera, and Julie Brister. Season three guests include Dennis Quaid, Amy Brenneman, Griffin Dunne, Sherilyn Fenn, Beau Bridges, Shamier Anderson, Julia Jones, Leslie Grossman, Graham Greene, and Illeana Douglas. The series follows Billy McBride (Thornton), the “David” of the series, who takes on the powerful Goliaths of the justice system and the world. In season three, The unexpected death of an old friend leads Billy McBride to take a case in the drought-stricken Central Valley. He comes face-to-face with a new Goliath — a billionaire rancher (Quaid) and his sister (Brenneman) and their scheme to steal water, California’s most valuable resource. As Billy and his team pursue the truth, old enemies and personal demons resurface and force him to confront his own mortality.
Goliath has been renewed for a fourth and final season which will debut September 24, 2021. Stay tuned for further updates.

Unless Amazon decides to release viewership numbers, it’s difficult to know if a show like Goliath is doing well enough to be renewed for a fourth season. Considering the talent attached to this series, I suspect that the show will be renewed. I’ll update this page with breaking developments. I absolutely love this series! The writing is smart and the characters are well developed, real and rich! I find myself literally holding my breath through entire episodes! This series must be renewed! BRAVO!!

Episodes 1&2 left us, both, disappointed and confused… However, knowing how good S1&2 had been we stuck with it. As soon as Goliath went back into the court room it soon picked up.
This want the best season but we still enjoyed it and will watch S4 if they make it.
Great character…story line good. But lost interest with the SMOKE .

I’m not sure it should be renewed. A lot of stories should not be endlessly rebooted. I liked this one at first, and the core David vs Goliath battle in S03 is good, but the characters are getting boring, and the presentation was too fantastical for me… Seems almost the entire production group was high on LSD or stoned, or both.
Perhaps Goliath would’ve been better as an anthology, where different legal teams take on different types of legal battles against completely different Goliaths. Such a show could span continents and cross language barriers and surely become an international success.
I agree. The first few episodes were like some bizarre ‘trip’. I seriously considered not watching anymore because it was so ‘out there’.
