From Brian Tanen, the Grand Hotel TV show is an English-language drama based on the Spanish series, Gran Hotel by creators Ramón Campos, Jr. and Gema R. Neira. The primetime soap centers on the Riviera Grand, the last family-owned hotel in culturally diverse Miami Beach, Florida.
The magnetic Santiago Mendoza (Bichir) owns the hotel. Meanwhile, his second wife, Gigi (Sánchez), lives the good life this business brings, along with their grown children, Alicia (Tontz) and Javi (Craig).
The hotel is a second home to its exclusive clientele, who revel in excess. Beneath the veneer of luxury, lurk sinful scandals, financial foibles, and deep, dark secrets.

I thought the show was great why it was cancelled is beyond regular mind set it was great to know that I could stay on ABC for Grand Hotel and Reef Break totally bummed on both shows

Grand hotel should be renewed. You just get interested in a new series and take it away or put on NetFlex which I dont have on my tv. Keep series on same day and channel if you want to succeed with it. Thanks! I enjoyed the series while it lasted!

This was a great show that always left you hanging until the next episode. You guys were really onto something. Too bad it has been cancelled and it should be revisited.
Grand Hotel is a great show. I enjoyed watching it immensely. Great season finale. Characters were believable and left me wanting to watch more.
Only 1 season…..give it longer, people will get addicted!!!!! Please bring back!!!!!!!

I will sure miss this show, I wish it would continue, I don’t care if another network picked it up, hopefully one I can get. This was my favorite show. I looked forward to it each week. I couldn’t wait for the next one. The romance, mystery and drama all in one show. I can’t believe they just dropped it. I sure wish they would drop some others that I don’t watch.
I just discovered this series on Hulu- I love it! So disappointed it was cancelled!!

This was a great show–about the only thing on during the summer except for constant reruns. We never missed an episode and could barely wait for the next week. It is a shame–seems like they cancel the good ones.

The best summer show on TV. This was basically an all Latino cast, which is practically unheard of. The characters were very interesting, the storyline was suspenseful and left you at the edge of your seat every Monday night. The actors were excellent, the fashion was to die for, and the actors were some of the most handsome men and gorgeous women ever!. Please bring the show back we deserve to know who shot Mr. Mendoza and the show needs to continue. I can’t think of one Latino show on TV. Come on give this show another chance.
I agree if ABC doesn’t bring this phenomenal show back then another network whether it’s Netflix, Hulu or etc to pick it up and bring the show back because they left us with a cliffhanger. We’re all wondering “who shot Santiago?”
