Are you a fan of Grimm? The NBC series is ending after six seasons, but what about a seventh? Would you have watched another season of the supernatural drama?
The show follows Nick Burkhardt (David Giuntoli), a homicide detective who fights mythological forces. The cast also includes Russell Hornsby, Silas Weir Mitchell, Bitsie Tulloch, Reggie Lee, Sasha Roiz, Bree Turner, and Claire Coffee.
While Grimm was never one of NBC‘s higher-rated shows, the series did have a devoted following. Season six even increased in viewing numbers, earning a 0.81 rating in the 18-49 demo and 4.13 million viewers. For comparison. season five received an average rating of 0.89 in the 18-49 demo and only 3.94 million viewers.
The series finale of Grimm airs tonight, March 31st, at 8 p.m. ET/PT.
What do you think? Would you have watched a seventh season of Grimm?
I think they made a huge mistake.. This was a good show .. I won’t be tuning in to this station for my Friday night TV… Seems they love to remove things I watch.. So I’ll remove their station from my lineup..
Our family is saddened by the loss of Grimm from our Friday nights. No one asked us if it was okay to kill it off! I hope this show is somehow able to continue even if on another network. The cast was superb and believable in every performance. You could clearly see well thought out director decisions that seemed to flow magically throughout each episode. I ask that this show is resurrected in its original form However I would strongly consider getting behind a spinoff as well. Good luck to all of you!
The finale was “perfect” – everyone survived. Good beat evil. It made me so happy and I called my friends to share the good news. I’m still disappointed that it was the last one. Hopefully someone will reconsider and continue. I love the characters and Nick is a “charmer” without the conceit like other actors have in other shows.
I DID NOT want Grimm end. It was such a good show. It was one that the whole family could watch. WE don’t have many shows like that anymore. The ending made me think that many they will bring a different Grimm series with the children as the main characters. That would be great. I’m heartbroken.
I was not ready for Grimm to end. It was a family favorite, we definitely would have kept watching.
I would watch even 10 more episodes if the writing and acting stayed as well as it is now. There are not so many really good shows on that you can’t go to the bathroom cause you don’t want to miss anything, or hate to seethe episode end like this show. Please give us loyal fans at least another season or two. Please!!!!1
Maybe you should have tried to keep the not so loyal fans watching. The show is on NBC, not SYFY. Netflix could have grabbed it, they didn’t. That says a lot.
I most definitely would have liked to watch more seasons of Grimm. The make-up changes as the characters changed into their particular creature, was amazing. I am going to miss Grimm a whole lot.
I love this show ❤️, I’m not ready for this end!!! Finale was amazing though, but still.
YESS, I WOULD HAVE CONTINUED WATCHING THE SERIES!! It could have gone on for another 3 0r 4 seasons!
Loved the finale. Very satisfying but still sorry to see the show end. Would definitely have watched another season.
I am so sad to see this series go!! Not only was it great fun, with appealing characters, it was set in my city! Always the great shows!! Why can’t they end all of the reality shows.
Grimm was one of the best shows, I have watched in years. The characters were true and connected with the viewers. Very few shows on the air today can equate to that. I would have watched the show for several more seasons, and agree there were many story lines and directions the show could have explored if continued to air. Thank you to the great actors, writers, and entire crew of Grimm for giving us the viewers six awesome seasons!
Yes, I most definitely would have kept watching, but being after killing Zerstorer and being left with the magical staff and then flash forwarding 20 years the qustion is moot.
Yes, loved the show and there are still many story lines that could have developed. Sad to see it go. I guess people would rather watch all these reality shows that seem to have taken over primetime instead of sci-fi, fantasy, drama, action, suspense, and true comedies.
Totally agree with you on the reality show comment
I would have absolutely continued watching! I didn’t care for the way it ended. Yes I was happy everyone was ok but the 20 years later part was a big disappointment. There could have been many more episodes with Nick now in possession of the stick. Oh and I had so looked forward to seeing the triplets! All we got was a reference to them at the end.
I know, I am going to be honest, as far as I am concerned Monroe was the most amusing character, Sgt. Wu the 2nd most amusing, Bud the 3rd most amusing, but that has more to do with the character’s limited role, and Adelind the overall hottie. Debuted in 2011, yet I had not even known the series existed until last year, I am a very analytical person when it comes to Gothic type horror, maybe I saw previews where it showed Monroe woged and my opinion is that werewolves have to have the shape of that of a very… Read more »
Lost train of thought which was I know how others might feel in regards to how disappointing the series finale was.
To be sincere as campy as many of the Wessant were I considered the premise of the Zerstorer character even more unrealistic, anyone who believes any of the nonsense within any religious text genuine has lost complete loss of reality, then the writers had the need to fantasy even more by bestowing a wooden staff with supernatural power, please * link:
Ziggurat of Ur was a temple to the Akkadian Moon god Sin.

Oops!, brain flatulence, I meant to say anyone who believes any of balderdash, bunk, malarkey, nonsense, poppycock, et cetera has lost complete sense of reality.
Gloria, I cannot believe you and I are the only to have voiced our opinions towards how the writers saw fit to end the series, tragic is my opinion.
2 to have, I really need to concentrate.
I know!! That would have been great.
A mini series would be nice.
