Are you a fan of Grimm? The NBC series is ending after six seasons, but what about a seventh? Would you have watched another season of the supernatural drama?
The show follows Nick Burkhardt (David Giuntoli), a homicide detective who fights mythological forces. The cast also includes Russell Hornsby, Silas Weir Mitchell, Bitsie Tulloch, Reggie Lee, Sasha Roiz, Bree Turner, and Claire Coffee.
While Grimm was never one of NBC‘s higher-rated shows, the series did have a devoted following. Season six even increased in viewing numbers, earning a 0.81 rating in the 18-49 demo and 4.13 million viewers. For comparison. season five received an average rating of 0.89 in the 18-49 demo and only 3.94 million viewers.
The series finale of Grimm airs tonight, March 31st, at 8 p.m. ET/PT.
What do you think? Would you have watched a seventh season of Grimm?
Yes, I would have kept watching Grimm. I only watch Grimm and Sleepy Hollow as it is. Now Grimm is gone and Sleepy Hollow is “on the bubble” and may be cancelled. I’d be depressed but they both had good last shows, and I can imagine the characters carrying on their lives somewhere out of sight.
I think it’s depressing that Grimm’s over. The networks would be wise to be careful about what they cancel. I can’t believe that shows like Criminal Minds continue ad nauseum and and original programming like Grimm gets cancelled. I almost exclusively watch cable shows these days because the major networks can’t keep up with original interesting writing.
I really like Grimm, it has a lot of possibilities. I wanted to see if the writers brought any more myths from Latin America, like the Llorona from Mexico or other myths or gods from the pantheon that is Central, North and South America.
I loved Grimm… I really enjoyed the stories and the characters… It was a well written show… i am so sorry it went off…I would have totally watched it!!!
Even though Grimm was a bit on the sci-fi side, I thoroughly enjoyed it. I hope the cast and crewedo well in their future endeavors. If producers or The Who Evers decide to bring it back in a movie or continue the series, this is one viewer that will NOT complain. I am happy that the producers ended it with a great ending.
To the cast and writers and crew of Grimm, many thanks for some great TV. The show will be missed.
I see that lots of people agree with me about the crap on TV that has 15 or 20 seasons under their belt with no sign of stopping. A lot of what’s on TV today is an insult to anyone with half a brain. And yet they cancel show like Grimm. Who does that??? Grimm brings out the kid in all age groups who ever read a fairy story as a child. Why do the good shows never last long enough and the bad ones last too long? Can anyone explain that because I can’t
I’m not sure but I think it has to do with how many advertisers they can get. It’s all about money . We have to pay to watch TV but that isn’t enough. I sure hope it will come back. You are right, there are some really bad programming on TV these days. I’ve be been watching TV since there was a TV, a day or 2 ago so I can really tell people about the changes and not for the better.
Seriously, I was so happy when I heard they canceled Bones. They should of canceled that like seven seasons ago. The big four are so out of tune with what people want in television these days.
I’m not in the 18 to 49 age group (60+) and I would love to see Grimm continue for season 7 and beyond. I miss it already and it hasn’t been that long. Please bring it back.
I am in that age group and I want it back 🙁
Absolutely, renew it. We love it.
I loved this show! I was extremely upset that it was cancelled. 10 years ago, NBC was my favorite network. Now that Grimm is gone, this network has nothing to offer me.
My feelings on Grimm were honestly mixed. Loved Season 6, and I loved Seasons 1-2. Totally hooked from the first episode. The turning point for me was when Eve/Juliette burned the trailer, and went off the deep end. To me, this series was killed in the writing room, and not by the actors. Sticking to the formula of introducing a new fairy tale baddie, and the Grimm taking said baddie out was a GREAT recipe all on its own. I loved the research, (c’mon the trailer?), loved how he discovered his power, and made life long friends. Monrosalie was the… Read more »
I loved GRIMM!!! I would love to continue!!! Please bring it back.
I loved the storys and would of watched 12 seasons if possible . truly made the kid in you come out at times . I would follow it if moved to another .
I would have continued to watch this show. I wanted to see what would happen after the babies were born. There were so many more storylines. I’m sure the writers could have continued.
I would never stop watching Grimm… NEVER NEVER NEVER
