It seems that TBS is raising their ratings standards for their original sitcoms. After all, the cable channel has cancelled Men at Work and Sullivan & Son and, Cougar Town is ending. The ratings for Ground Floor weren’t very strong last year so could it already be destined to be cancelled? How will the numbers be this time around — good enough for the sitcom to earn a third season? Stay tuned.
Ground Floor follows the romantic relationship of a young hotshot banker (Skylar Astin) and a beautiful maintenance worker (Briga Heelan). The rest of the sitcom’s cast includes Rory Scovel, Rene Gube, James Earl, Emily Heller, and John C. McGinley.
The ratings are typically the best indication of a show’s chances of staying on the air. The higher the ratings, the better the chances for survival. This chart will be updated as new ratings data becomes available.
2/14 update: The sitcom has been cancelled by TBS after two seasons.
Final season averages: 0.6 rating in the 18-49 demographic with 1.47 million total viewers.

What do you think? Do you like the Ground Floor TV series? Do you think it should be cancelled or renewed for season three?
The show Ground Floor, was one of the best shows on tv. Why is it every show that is good is taken off the air. Then keep all the crap shows about magicians and aliens, which are really bad. This is why I only watch tnt when sports are on.
I loved Ground Floor! It was funny, I am soo dissappointed. They always take the good ones off.
That was always a date night for me and my husband to sit down and see what unfolds between Jenny and Brody. She finally said she wanted to get married. We would love to see what else unfolds between them. The entire cast was great to watch. Very sad if it gets cancelled.
This was one of my favorites. I wish it had been renewed. There was no advertising for it! Many people would have watched it if the station had invested some money and gave them a good time slot!!!
I would be very disappointed for the series to be cancelled. It is intellectual and very funny!
I love ground floor finally a show I love to watch in fact the only show I watch please keep it
This show is the highlight of my week. I can’t imagine it getting cancelled. It would be a huge loss. To end a show on such an awaited moment and cliff hanger would just be cruel.
It makes no sense at all to cancel it now. If they were going to cancel it, they would have done so after the first season when Brody got fired for running off to Paris with Jen rather than going to Hong Kong as asked. Now, Brody has his job back, he’s got Mr. Mansfield’s respect, and Jenny (finally!) said yes! 🙁
