What’s next for The Indian Detective? Recently, star Russell Peters revealed there is a second season in the works for the Netflix TV show.
The Canadian comedy stars Peters as Doug D’Mello, a Toronto police officer who gets caught up in a murder investigation while visiting his father in Mumbai. The cast also includes Mishqah Parthiephal, Christina Cole, Scott Cavalheiro, Anupam Kher, Hazma Haq, and William Shatner.
On Twitter and during an interview with CP24, Peters teased a second season of The Indian Detective. Netflix has yet to confirm a renewal.

Heck yeah I would watch season 2. I am praying it has a long life span. I loved the first season and Russel Peters is one of my favorite comedians of all times. I hope to see him in many more shows and movies his acting is pretty dang good.
