Tom Arnold’s life is coming to the small screen. Deadline reports Paramount Network is developing a new TV series called The Interventionist.
As reported earlier, Spike TV is rebranding as Paramount Network. Part of the new network’s lineup will be The Interventionist, a half-hour comedy “based on [Arnold’s] life as a recovering addict and interventionist for substance abusers in LA.”
The Interventionist is being executive produced by Tom Arnold, Aaron Kaplan, Steven Pink, Glenn Porter, Dana Honor, and Alex Hardcastle. Paramount Network has not yet announced a premiere date for the new TV series.
From EP Aaron Kaplan:
Tom’s stories as an interventionist are incredible. I loved working with him as my client (when I was an agent), and we’ve been looking for something to work on together for the past many years so I’m so excited to be working with him, Steve and Alex on The Interventionist! “
