A familiar face is returning to CBS. Deadline reports JAG star David James Elliott will reprise his role on NCIS: Los Angeles.
Elliott played Harmon Rabb Jr. on JAG for all 10 seasons between 1995 and 2005. The CBS legal drama explored cases involving “judge advocates,” i.e. military attorneys, Washington D.C. area. The cast also included Catherine Bell, Tracey Needham, John M. Jackson, and Scott Lawrence. The original NCIS series is a spin-off of JAG.
Elliott will be reprising the role of Rabb Jr. on NCIS: Los Angeles beginning with the May 12th episode. Read more from executive producer R. Scott Gemmill below:
I was really excited to get a chance to work with David again. I did the first 4 seasons of JAG with him so to be able to work together again in and of itself is great–but to do so with the same character…on our show…this many years later—that’s pretty damn amazing. Bringing Harmon Rabb to work with NCIS: Los Angeles makes for a formidable coalition, and both entities are going to need all the help they can get when confronted with the greatest challenge of their careers.”

Love Jag, I never missed an episode and actually have DVD’s of the series. I also love all the NCIS shows so this is great.

I think it’s the greatest ever. Watched all 10 years of Jag and loved it. Hope he is a regular on the show. Great addition.

I will be very happy to see David again. i always watched JAG but don’t watch any NCIS shows. This may prompt me to do so. An extra bonus would be Catherine Bell to join the series between her Good Witch assignments.
I watched and own all the JAG series and also NCIS series. To have David on NCIS: LA will be awesome. If you liked JAG I believe you would love NCIS.
