What’s going on with Jett? Recently, star Carla Gugino announced Cinemax has decided not to renew the TV show for a second season.
The drama series stars Gugino as a world-class thief who is fresh out of prison. She gets pulled back into a life of crime by a group of diverse criminals, including a powerful crime lord named Charlie Baudelaire (Giancarlo Esposito).
On Instagram, Gugino revealed Cinemax has cancelled Jett after one season but the show is searching for another network for a possible second season. Deadline reports the network is no longer developing any original series.

Surely Netflix or Amazon could produce. Covid is creating massive demand for product and this is fabulous compared to some of the stuff on air

Jett is the best show we’ve watched during this Pandemic. We have several friends and family in love with this show. Bring it back!!!!! Find a home for this amazing show

Not renewing the show would be disastrous, Carla’s character surely deserves a continuation of her story arc, others included. Please bring it back, somehow, under a different production company.

This was a GREAT show. Carla Gugino is spectacular. Hopefully Netflix or Prime Video will see the potential and pick it up for another season or 2 (or 3).
