A comedy court series airing on the ABC television network, the Judge Steve Harvey TV show stars stand-up comedian and television show host Steve Harvey. On the show, Harvey serves as both the judge and the jury but, unlike other TV judges, Harvey has never held any judgeship or legal licenses. With the help of Nancy Price, his trusted bailiff by trade, Harvey plays by his own rules, basing his courtroom decisions on his own life experiences and some good old common sense. Real-life people with real-life conflicts present their case in Harvey’s TV courtroom and they range from family disputes, unpaid bets, sour friendships, and everything in between.

The first half of the second season of Judge Steve Harvey (which aired during the 2022-23 broadcast season) averages a 0.28 rating in the 18-49 demographic and 2.73 million viewers. Compared to season one, that’s down by 46% in the demo and down by 28% in viewership in the live+same day ratings (includes DVR playback through 3:00 AM).
The second half of the second season of Judge Steve Harvey (which aired during the 2023-24 broadcast season) averages a 0.16 rating in the 18-49 demographic and 1.67 million viewers. Compared to season one, that’s down by 69% in the demo and down by 56% in viewership in the live+same day ratings (includes DVR playback through 3:00 AM).
While these numbers don’t include further delayed or streaming viewing, they are a very good indicator of how a show is performing, especially when compared to others on the same channel. This show still hasn’t finished it’s second season but keeps on getting messed with by the network by getting the season split between two years and it’s time slot messed with. It’s good yet ABC seems to be actively trying to kill it.

I was never a big Steve Harvey fan until this show came in. Now I can’t get enough. It’s hilarious, touching, and has a lot of heart. I’ve laughed and cried while watching thus show. I think it would be a travesty if this show got cancelled.
