Is the jury in — or out? It looks like the low-rated You the Jury TV show may soon be cancelled by FOX. After just two episodes aired, FOX replaced last Friday’s episode with a random re-run of Lethal Weapon. That move seems to indicate the verdict is not good.
You the Jury is a legal reality series hosted by Judge Jeanine Pirro. Attorneys Charla Aldous, Jose Baez, Mike Cavalluzzi, Benjamin L. Crump, Areva Martin, and Joe Tacopina argue cases before former California Superior Court Judge LaDoris Cordell. Afterwards, the audience gets about five minutes to vote via text and the FOX Now App.
At the conclusion of the Eastern/Central time zone broadcast, “America’s Verdict” is revealed. The vote is 100% live and binding. However, it’s not always permanent. After the Mountain and Pacific zones vote, if the cumulative total leads to a different result, the original verdict is overturned.
You the Jury: A Look at the Ratings
The first season of You the Jury is averaging a mere 0.34 rating in the 18-49 demographic and only 1.37 million viewers. While, by default, one show has to be the lowest-rated on each network, You the Jury is tanking in both the demo and in terms of total audience size, compared to other FOX TV shows.
As of right now, You the Jury, episode 1.03, “Alienation of Affection,” is still on the FOX schedule for Friday, April 28th at 9:00pm, following the season two finale of the also low-rated Rosewood. We’ll keep an eye on the schedule this week, and update you, if that changes.

I would have liked it more if they didn’t have that stupid applause throughout the show. This makes it seem less like an actual courtroom. I love Judge Jeanine a great deal and hope they give this show a chance.
I don’t think they gave it a chance. I watched the 1st episode. The second I missed but watched later. Now tonight it’s showing Lethal Weapon. I want to see it and vote. I was pissed that it wasnt on last week. Now this week it’s not on again even though it’s supposed to be. The only advertisement for the show really came from Judge Jeanine on her Twitter account. Give it a chance, please. Let people know about it. Air it when it’s supposed to be aired.
I like it. It’s like Who Wants to be a Millionaire meets Judge Judy, lol, but I find it informative and entertaining.
I liked the show and have been watching for it each Friday night since the second show. Maybe it needs a different time slot to do better?
I must have a huge blind spot when it comes to TV taste.I was also disapointed when NBC canceled Powerless. I normally avoid “reality shows” because they usually aren’t.While I thought this show was a bit contrived and verdicts subject to the emotions of the audience, that is what made it no less then NBC’s The Voice. I loved the show. I hope the network tries placing the show on a different time and day to see if it increases viewership. I just tried to DVR tonight’s episode and I couldn’t locate it. It may already have been cut.
I liked the show even though I didn’t agree with the outcome on both episodes. It doesn’t seem like a live show when they show previews of what is to come at the commercial breaks. I love Judge Jeanine’s take at the end of the episode.
I happen to like the show and some of the lawyers who are on it, It’s very interesting and features cases that have been in the public eye so we already know about the case, but we actually get to vote on how it should be handled. I think they should put casey anthony’s case on there and see how everyone votes on her case, bet it would turn out totally different. anways, I love the show and hope it stays on fox. At least let it stay on for one season before canceling it!
I’m so tired of fox cancelling great shows. And lethal weapon is a great show. They do this all the time. If they cancel another one of my sons (lethal weapon) I’m just going to stop watching fox all together.
It’s a great show. 1 million viewers you consider low ratings for a Friday night. Cmon….give me a break…Fox network is doing this to punish it’s host Judge Jeannine. They are trying to replace/silence any conservative voice.

Whenever something is DIFFERENT, it gets cancelled. The viewers seem to only want clones of other shows. I am NOT in the 19-45 demo but I am in the legal profession and I enjoyed the shows two episodes, even tho’ on both I did not agree with the verdict. This show makes you think. No wonder we cannot pick jurors if they won’t even watch a show and come to a conclusion.
DUMB SHOW. I WATCHED ONE EPISODE AND THE “JURY” HAD ITS COLLECTIVE HEAD UP YOU KNOW WHERE. DECISION FOLLOWED NOTHING CLOSE TO THE LAW.
I can,t wait for lethal weapon to come back on, I love that show, next to that is luifer and shades of blue, you the jury is a no no.

As a Floridian, it sickens me to see Jose Baez in a “court room” again!
