What’s This TV Show About?
A History Middle Ages drama, Knightfall tells the story of the Knights Templar. Mark Hamill joins the History drama for season two, with Tom Cullen, Pádraic Delaney, Ed Stoppard, Simon Merrells, Julian Ovenden, and Jim Carter returning. Also new in the second season are Genevieve Gaunt, Tom Forbes, and Clementine Nicholson. The series explores the secret world of these warrior monks. With the downfall of the Templar Order looming, season two focuses on themes including power, redemption, revenge, betrayal, family, and an epic war between church and state.
Season Two Ratings
The second season of Knightfall averaged a 0.13 rating in the 18-49 demographic and 652,000 viewers. Compared to season one, that’s down by 48% and 47%, respectively. Find out how Knightfall stacks up against other History TV shows.

Telly’s Take
Will Knightfall be cancelled or renewed for season three on History? The ratings are way down but this channel has so few scripted series, it’s difficult to tell what numbers they consider to be high enough for a renewal. I recently finished season 2 and found this show seriously lacking. It’s basically complete fiction at this point and has nothing to do with the story of what happened to the templars. I really dig historical action dramas but really can’t see what else this show has to tell. It barely had enough left in the tank for a 2nd season

I would love to see a season 3. I am craving to know what comes next for Sir Landry and his daughter. I’ve watched the two seasons available five times now. Tom Cullen is perfect in the role of Landry.
I would love to see season 3. And if that would be the last season if it would be finalized. I hate when series are left and there is no end. just leaves you hanging waiting for whats next..
I’ve never seen a television show that, for all the pageantry of costumes, castles, and armored combat, is at its core about faith. Season 1 may have been a bit wobbly, bur Season 2 found its legs and had some really interesting things to say. The cast is just marvelous, especially Tom Cullen (and Mark Hamill is a superlative addition). I’m sure there is much, much more this show can do, and I sincerely hope History channel gives it the chance to do it.

This show is amazing! I re-watched season 1 before watching the second. I sure hope this show goes on. Like others have said, this series is so much better than lots of others that have been on for a while. Listen to your watchers, give us more. Thank you
