Love is in the air on CBS. The network just announced their upcoming TV show, Love Island, will air five nights a week when it premieres in July.
Based on the UK reality show, the series “begins as a group of single “Islanders” come together in a stunning villa in Fiji, ready to embark on a summer of love, friendships and, ultimately, relationships. Every few days the Islanders must couple-up – those who fail to find a partner to couple up with risk being dumped from the island.”
CBS plans on airing Love Island five nights a week beginning July 9th at 8 p.m. ET/PT. The schedule may be in part based on the original UK series, which airs six episodes a week on ITV2.
Though, it’s worth mentioning, FOX tried a three-episode-a-week schedule with their recent Paradise Hotel reboot only to cut two nights a week due to low ratings.

It would fare better on a cable channel where hot female nudity could be included. Europe is much more progressive in it’s recognition of the nude female body.
