TV show description:
This horror black comedy series is based on the characters created by Neil Gaiman, Sam Kieth, and Mike Dringenberg for DC Entertainment’s Vertigo imprint. It’s the story of the original fallen angel — Lucifer.
Bored and unhappy as the Lord of Hell, Lucifer Morningstar (Tom Ellis) has abandoned his throne and retired to Los Angeles. There, he owns an upscale nightclub named Lux. Charming, charismatic, and devilishly handsome, Lucifer is enjoying his retirement, indulging in a few of his favorite things — wine, women, and song.
His bliss is disturbed when a beautiful pop star is brutally murdered outside of his club. For the first time in roughly 10 billion years, he feels something awaken deep within him as a result of this murder. Could it be (perish the thought) compassion or sympathy?
These thoughts disturb both Lucifer and his best friend and confidante, Mazikeen aka Maze (Lesley-Ann Brandt). Maze is a fierce demon who’s taken the form of a beautiful young woman.
The murder outside the club attracts the attention of LAPD homicide detective Chloe Decker (Lauren German). She’s initially dismissive of Lucifer but she soon becomes intrigued by his talent for drawing out people’s secrets. Chloe also likes his desire to dispense justice, doling out punishment to those who deserve it.
As they work together to solve the pop star’s murder, Lucifer is struck by Chloe’s inherent goodness. Accustomed to dealing with the absolute worst of humanity, Lucifer is intrigued by Chloe’s apparent purity and begins to wonder if there’s hope for his own soul yet.
At the same time, God’s emissary, an angel named Amenadiel (DB Woodside), has been sent to Los Angeles to convince Lucifer to return to the underworld.
Can the Devil incarnate be tempted toward the side of Good — or will his original calling pull him back toward Evil?
Episode #93 — Partners ‘Til the End
Desperate to rescue Rory, Lucifer and Chloe confront her kidnapper with guns and wings blazing. Lucifer finally comes to terms with his purpose.
First aired: September 10, 2021.
What do you think? Do you like the Lucifer TV show? Should it have been cancelled or renewed for a seventh season on Netflix?
Best show I have watched so far!!!!!!!!!!! Yeah Fox put some stupid thing in its place . Thank you Netflix your awesome
Thank you Netflix ! You’re awesome!
Well,Fox does it again cancel their best show for no good reason. What next a cooking show or maybe another so called talent competition. Everyone cannot afford to pay for television.
Lucifer was my favorite show since Fox cancelled Sleepy Hollow. I know let’s put yet another show of people singing or dancing in front of judges…..(boo hiss)
I love this show. Thank you Netflix. Who needs regular series TV channels. Thank you Hulu too.
While I am elated that there will be a Season 4 of Lucifer I hope the writers have learned from the mistakes they made in Season 3. We didn’t need a Luci-Chloe-Pierce love triangle as that felt forced. It would have been better to have had more focus on Luci trying to bring Pierce, as the Sinnerman down without Chloe’s knowledge. Some of the stand-alone and other episodes did weaken the season as the ratings shows and many of those viewers did not return to Lucifer. While “A Devil of My Word” was an extremely well written episode and Henderson… Read more »
Thanks to Netflix there will be a fourth season. I made an account today to say ‘THANK YOU Netflix ❤’!
YESSSSSSS!!!!!!! I could not be happier that Netflix has picked up what has become my favorite series. Although I understand FOX’s decision vis-à-vis business, I have felt for years that creative shows should not continue to be the first heads to roll. It’s always the non-mainstream entertainments that so many of us love. With luck and the talented writers and cast, we’ll see more than 10 new eps. Live on, Lucifer!!
I’m so happy because Netflix picked up Lucifer for (at least) Season 4. There’s a lot of things to tell and histories to be developed yet.
Great NEWS!!!!!! Lucifer, Season 4 has just been picked up by Netflix. Amazon should have been a little bit quicker
it is a wonderful show and I’m very sorry that fox cancelled it it’s the only show I really watched religiously and I love it
I’m so sad that Lucifer has been canceled. The dark humor is wonderful and the actors are suited to their roles. The show is amazing so of course FOX wants to cancel it. I hope another network picks this show up and keeps it going. Maybe then FOX will see the error of their ways!
Why does it seem FOX is full of morons? Everything that they produce that is phenomenal is replaced with second rate shows that should be cancelled prior to the first episode and KEEP shows like Lucifer going. I know it’s not one of Fox’s shows, but but a classic example is shows like Law and Order and all spin-offs have been going for years and years and years. Every episode is like watching the one before – nothing different. I’d PERSONALLY like to see the future seasons to see what Chloe does next. Does she marry Lucifer? Is she so… Read more »
I agree. Everything that they produce that is phenomenal is replaced with second rate shows that should be canceled prior to the first episode and KEEP shows like Lucifer going. I’d PERSONALLY like to see the future seasons to see what Chloe does next. Does she marry Lucifer? Is she so shocked that she runs away? I want to see it continue.
FOX seems to have some of the best shows, but those brain dead morons keep cancelling them. I guess Lucifer is now added to the list.
Please bring back Lucifer. Without Lucifer, Monday night TV is going to be very boring.
i heard fox is getting sued by some of the cast of bones. i wonder if luicfer cast can do the same.
