The adventures of MacGyver will continue. CBS just announced they’ve renewed the TV show for a fourth season.
A reboot of the ’80s action drama, the series centers on Angus “Mac” MacGyver (Lucas Till), a 20-something adventurer who uses his vast scientific knowledge and extraordinary talent for unconventional problem solving to save the world. The cast also includes Tristin Mays, Justin Hires, and Meredith Eaton.
It’s hardly surprising CBS has renewed MacGyver. Although ratings have dropped around 15% since season two, the show’s third season is still averaging a decent .70 in the 18-49 demo and 6.137 million viewers.
Fans of MacGyver can also look forward to more Desi next season. Deadline reports star Levy Tran is expected to join season four as a series regular.

I have been watching MacGyver since season and I am happy it is coming back.
Yes this is one of a few shows that I can watch with my 13 year old daughter. We love watching it together. So glad that it’s coming back. Now the question is exactly when? I am seeing all the commercial episode renewals but not seeing any for Macgyver.
I will always miss Jack, but I do like Desi. The young lady who portrays Desi does a good job. Can’t wait to see new episodes!!! [I am kind of hoping that perhaps George Eads (as Jack, of course) will be featured in some episodes in the near future even though he does not intend to come back full time …. can’t help it … really love what he brought to the show … such a wonderful actor].

My wife and were surprised that MacGyver was not in the fall lineup even though the show was renewed for an other season. When will the fall season start for MacGyver and at what time? MacGyver is an excellent show and we don’t want to miss any episodes.
