Does Elizabeth McCord still have it all in control during the fourth season of the Madam Secretary TV show on CBS? As we all know, the Nielsen ratings typically play a big role in determining whether a TV show like Madam Secretary is cancelled or renewed for season five. Unfortunately, most of us do not live in Nielsen households. Because many viewers feel frustration when their viewing habits and opinions aren’t considered, we’d like to offer you the chance to rate all the Madam Secretary season four episodes here.
A CBS political thriller, Madam Secretary stars Téa Leoni, Tim Daly, Bebe Neuwirth, Željko Ivanek, Keith Carradine, Sebastian Arcelus, Patina Miller, Geoffrey Arend, Erich Bergen, Kathrine Herzer, Wallis Currie-Wood, and Evan Roe. The drama follows the shrewd, determined Elizabeth McCord (Leoni). As U.S. Secretary of State, she battles office politics, while driving diplomacy and negotiating global deals.
Elizabeth was once a CIA analyst, who exited that post for ethical reasons. She later returned to public life, at the request of President Conrad Dalton (Carradine). He values her apolitical leanings, knowledge of the Middle East, flair for languages, and unconventional thinking. Elizabeth is married to Henry (Daly), a former theology professor who is now an intelligence operative. Together, they’re bringing up three children, which can really test her diplomatic skills.
What do you think? Which season four episodes of the Madam Secretary TV series do you rate as wonderful, terrible, or somewhere between? Should CBS cancel or renew Madam Secretary for a fifth season? Don’t forget to vote, and share your thoughts, below.
Great program
Chicago Med and Chicago Fire and Good Doctor are the only tv shows I do not want to miss. They should all be aired at 9pm not 10pm. These shows do not get enough exposure at 10pm.
Madame secretary is not getting killed because of the show but because of its’ time slot. CBS has a great show and has not done it justice. Please consider an earlier time and another day
Earlier time would be nice.
I love this show!
This is a terrific show …rates would be much higher if it was on a different night …..following over-run football games and starting at 10:30 is a disadvantage for East Coast viewing!
These comments are right on. ONe of the best written and acted show on TV
Thus is true-can’t miss football. I’ve watched it in CBS All Access. The last 3 seasons. But this is true no doubt. Wednesday, Friday, Saturday is good. Tuesday too.
A rare gem on tv!!
Love show. You think starting a show at 10:45 on a Sunday might hurt ratings??? Time for a new time slot
Love, love, love, love
Love this show! Keep it going with Tea Leoni as long as possible!
We watch every week and love the show, except the Russian guy. His accent is so fake. Surely the writers can do a better and different storyline.
I don’t dislike Alexander’s accent as much as the story line with Stevie.
PLEASE RENEW — WE LOVE THIS SHOW!!!!
I love the series Madam Secretary! I hope it is never cancelled, my husband and I watch every Sunday.
Please renew! There is not much to watch that we like on tv, Madam Secretary is our show, renew please! Thank you.
Madam Secretary is always a very well written and current news type show. They incorporate current events in some form when they can which is not an easy task to do. Tea Leoni is a great actress and always carries the show. I have loved it from the start and still do now! Keep up the great work!
I really enjoyed season 4 episode aired on 10/8/17. The talk about fake news shows that the writers are in tune with society today. The fact that an elected figure will do whatever he can to destroy the President and the Secretary is telling. We live in a society that sees nothing wrong woth that. I love this show. Please renew it!
Enjoyed whole episode. Especially daughter off to college. She really got in a murder mystery and I hope they find and can prove the culprit. Great season opener.
