Are you watching Manifest? Recently, creator Jeff Rake spoke with Page Six about his hopes for the future of the NBC TV show.
The freshman drama revolves around the passengers of a routine airline flight that goes missing — and then reappears. The cast includes Melissa Roxburgh, Josh Dallas, Athena Karkanis, J.R. Ramirez, Luna Blaise, Jack Messina, and Parveen Kaur.
Speaking to Page Six, Rake revealed he’s “optimistic” NBC will renew Manifest for a second season:
I haven’t heard anything yet about a Season 2 pickup but I’m optimistic. We do well. The studio and the network like the show.”
A season two renewal seems likely for Manifest given the show’s positive ratings. So far, season one is averaging a 1.27 rating in the 18-49 demo and 6.557 million viewers.

I really enjoy watching this show and hope we will be watching season 2 this fall!!!!! It’s exciting & fantastic…great for those conspiracy theorists LOL. Throughout this first season I have looked forward to every episode and haven’t missed a single one. Please do have a season 2. I just hope they don’t turn Romans 8:28 into something evil.

Please bring Manifest back. It is one of my favorite shows for the previous two years!!
My husband and I love this show…b/c we both work and get up very early in the morning, we DVR it but never miss an episode. Please keep it!

I love this show. If NBC had thought for any reason the show would not be renewed for another season, they should have written the last 1-2 episodes differently to bring the series to a conclusion, NOT leaving you hanging like the last episode did. NBC has cancelled numerous shows after one or two seasons I have followed religiously. If this show is cancelled, I may boycott watching any new series on NBC.
This a favorite show for me. I would like to see it for another season.
Please do not cancel this show. It is most intriguing and keeps you guessing on what happened to this plane–flight 828. It reminds me of Dallas or Dynasty of years gone by where you can’t wait until Monday night to see it. Bring it back asap.
