What’s This TV Show About?
Airing on the NBC television network, Manifest stars Melissa Roxburgh, Josh Dallas, Athena Karkanis, J.R. Ramirez, Luna Blaise, Jack Messina, and Parveen Kaur. After a family vacation in Jamaica, the Stone family is returning to New York when they are separated by the airline. Adult siblings Michaela (Roxburgh) and Ben (Dallas), along with Ben’s gravely ill son Cal (Messina), are bumped to a later flight. Ben’s wife Grace (Karkanis), daughter Olive (Blaise), and parents fly ahead. The later flight — Montego Air Flight 828 — hits some turbulence but ultimately lands safely. The flight crew and passengers are shocked to learn that five and a half years have passed for the rest of the world. They attempt to reconnect with their loved ones while trying to make sense of their mysterious “second chance”.

Telly’s Take
Will NBC cancel or renew Manifest for season two? The network ordered three more episodes, bringing the first season total to 16 episodes. The ratings started out strong but have petered out — just like Timeless in its first season. I think it will be renewed but the show could certainly end up being cancelled instead. I had high hopes for this show but the soap opera side turns me off. Danny is a stalker (get rid of him)and Olive was a pain in the behind but seems to be shaping up. The wife drives me nuts either she is in the marriage or cut it loose lady. She is totally annoying.
Really this is a decent concept I just wish they would get their story line in order.
Please please do not cancel manifest this is one show that my husband and I watch together it’s a great show please continue it I would be devastated to see the show end

I will be very upset and disappointed if Manifest is cancelled. If a show like Good Girls can get renewed, Manifest most certainly should be renewed. It seems that every show I like gets cancelled. NBC please renew this show!!! Thank you.
The ending of episode 16 was really stupid!
What if the series is not renewed … The ending was meaningless and I don’t even care if it’s renewed.
Plus, The amount of advertising on this show is ridiculous ! Record it and you’ll see more time in advertising then in the actual show.

I sure hope they renew Manifest, seems like every time I enjoy a show they yank it off the air,,its a great show.tv does everything else so why not make a channel for these shows that are good but doesn’t meet the mustard for the producers. Some of us can’t be in front of the tv when the shows come on because we work,so we have to record them,they should be able to get ratings from how many people have to record the shows to be able to enjoy them . I just spent the weekend binge watching Manifest. LOVED it!!! Mystery, suspense, romance. Perfect. Please, please, please renew for a 2nd season or, at the very least, give us enough episodes to wrap up the storyline.

This is one of a few good new shows for the 2018-2019 season. This has become my favorite show of the season, topping the previous favorite. This show uses many of the techniques used in the TV series “Lost,” with flashbacks, scenarios presented, but not explained for a couple of weeks or more, taking time to develop characters and keeping up the tension of the situation. So true, John. I agree totally, but hope we are wrong and NBC sees the potential of ‘Manifest.’
