What’s This TV Show About?
An NBC supernatural drama, Midnight, Texas stars François Arnaud, Dylan Bruce, Parisa Fitz-Henley, Arielle Kebbel, Jason Lewis, and Peter Mensah. Guest stars in the second season include Michael Harney, Mindy Sterling, Adam Langdon, Jasmine Cephas Jones, Jaime Murray, and Nick Lee. The series unfolds in the remote Texas town of Midnight, a haven for those hiding out from the world. There, only outsiders belong, while normality is just plain weird. The townies come together to form a sort of chosen family. Together they fend off external pressures from nosy police officers, vicious biker gangs, and their own dark pasts. Midnight, Texas is based on the book series of the same name, from True Blood author Charlaine Harris.

Telly’s Take
Will NBC cancel or renew Midnight, Texas for season three? The ratings were low during the show’s first season (which aired during the summer months) and the numbers have been awful in season two. Honestly, I can’t see this series being renewed. I’ll keep a hungry on the ratings and update this page with breaking developments. Subscribe for Midnight, Texas cancellation or renewal alerts.

I love Midnight, Texas and want there to be more seasons. I am so tired of getting invested in great shows that get cancelled after one or two seasons with no resolution. It is getting to the point that I don’t watch a first season until I know it’s status. Thanks so much for asking.
Love this series and the books! Please give your fans a 3rd season. Thank you, this is a unique show unlike any others.
I absolutely would love to see a third season! Excellent series and books. All the characters are interesting and I want to see how they grow and change on screen. I would definitely live in Midnight Texas…I already kinda do. 🙂
I agree, I’m close to 60 and I adore Midnight. I’ve waited and waited. Had to watch the season premier on demand due to “high school football”!!! Not a happy camper!!! For once just leave a show on for a full season and see what happens. You might be surprised. I am so tired of having the shows I like being pulled/cancelled after two or three airings.
Great show. Nielsen ratings are very out dated. Time for a more accurate rating system
I don’t understand why it’s only 18 to 49, what about the older generation? I am 60 and love watching midnight. And on top of that most 18 yr olds I know are out partying or taking college classes and don’t have time for watching TV
I am 69 yrs old and I agree with you. I enjoy Midnight Tx. Plus My husband who is 55 also is a background actor for the tv series
I enjoy Mudnight Texas; please renew.
Love this show!!! Please, please, please renew for another season!!!
