When the famous aunt she never knew, Phryne Fisher, goes missing over the highlands of New Guinea, the gorgeously reckless Peregrine Fisher (Geraldine Hakewill,Wanted) inherits a windfall. Peregrine sets out to become a world-class private detective in her own right, aided by the handsome, straitlaced Detective James Steed (Joel Jackson) and with the unerring guidance of The Adventuresses’ Club, a group of exceptional women of which her celebrated aunt was a member. A natural rule breaker, Peregrine is fearless, fun, and charmingly down-to-earth, as well as having a keen instinct for solving crimes. With newfound wealth and The Adventuresses to hone her rough edges and become the family she’s never had, Peregrine is unstoppable.”
What do you think? Are you a fan of Miss Fisher’s Murder Mysteries? Will you watch the spinoff series?
Love this show! Hope to see many more season So!
Great show! Hope there is many more seasons.
Love the show
Definetly bring Ms Fisher back. It is spunky and fun.
Honestly wasn’t sure about watching it but figured I would take a chance because I adored the original show (and can’t wait for the movie). I’m currently on episode 3 and I do love it! I feel it is a little less action packed, and definitely less “scandalous” but so much fun.
I t will be great if they keep the same actors! I like them all.
Can’t they just keep the original series going? This sounds stupid.
I can’t wait. I will watch for sure
Most definitely!!! Loved the original series, looking forward to a new version. It would be nice if Phrynie makes an appearance, even ghostlike.
Can’t wait! Love the old series having watched them All several times
It will be great fun IF they have the same level of cleverness and charm as did our ‘beloved’ original Miss Fisher! I look forward to the new show! Good Luck!
Would love to see the 60’s version
My wife and I enjoyed the Miss Fischer series. Neither of us has any interest in this “ update.” Sounds like just another moronic show about today’s Millennials. It’s bad enough that we have to live alongside these morons.
How dismissive of all the positive, educated and intelligent young people. I’m afraid you should point your comments into the mirror!
Yes!
Hello all, I’m somewhat puzzled here, how can it premiere on April 29th when here in the UK we’re on programme 3 or 4.
Shows are often released on different schedules in different countries. It debuts in the US later this month.
