What’s This TV Show About?
A USA Network legal and political drama, Pearson stars Gina Torres, Morgan Spector, Bethany Joy Lenz, Simon Kassianides, Eli Goree, Isabel Arraiza, and Chantel Riley, DB Woodside, and Betsy Brandt. The Suits spinoff centers on Jessica Pearson (Torres) who, after being disbarred, left New York City for the rough and tumble world of Chicago politics. Now she serves as the fixer for the Windy City’s working-class Mayor Bobby Novak (Spector), who is up for reelection. Jessica is just trying to reconcile her competitive nature and desire to win with her goal of doing the right thing.

Will USA Network cancel or renew Pearson for season two? The premiere drew much lower numbers than its lead-in, the ninth season premiere of Suits and subsequent episodes did even worse. It ended its season as USA’s lowest-rated scripted series so I don’t think there will be a second season. I’ll update this page with breaking developments. I really hope Pearson is renewed for season 2 as love the actors and the story overall and think it is one of the best dramas on tv

Please don’t cancel it. It’s definitely no Suits & it did take a few eps to get into it, but I do like it & it’s ended s1 on a massive cliffhanger with plenty of story left to tell. Not happy DB Woodside is seemingly gone though (: Was wishing Jessica would leave her cousin to rot on the streets as I can’t stand her however.
Show is really good! Strong female characters are a plus and it is unlike any other shows being aired. I would love to see a second season

Pearson was or is a very good spin off from Suits. The show has super good acting and episodes well written. Truly enjoyed watching Pearson and sure hope that Season 2 will happen. There are not many good series in this category on television and I am looking forward to Season 2.

I have enjoyed Pearson, one of the mature scripted shows on TV. Face it, television has been dummied down. Unfortunately, good acting and scripts are few. Please allow even a small segment of the viewing population to continue to have some intelligent options to fake reality shows. This is a great drama.

Please don’t cancel Pearson. Its a good show, like the characters and the story. It’s something different. Get tired of lawyer and doctor shows. Like the story about running a city and politics. A lot of people like the so so don’t cancel it.
