Do you watch Ransom? The CBS TV series wraps up its first season tonight, April 15th. Should the network renew the show for a second season? Would you watch another round of episodes?
The drama follows Eric Beaumont (Luke Roberts), an experienced crisis and hostage negotiator, and his team who are brought in to save lives when no one else can. The cast also includes Brandon Jay McLaren, Nazneen Contractor, and Sarah Greene.
Ransom‘s ratings have been low over the course of its freshman season. Currently, the Saturday show is averaging a 0.44 rating in the 18-49 demo and 3.52 million viewers, making it CBS’ lowest-rated series for the 2016-2017 season.
However, not all shows live or die by their ratings and this may be one of them. Ransom is an international production, which means the show costs less for CBS. If another season is produced by the production company, would the network purchase it? We’ll have to wait and see.

one of the best shows ever. should have a season 2.not fair it was it was rated on a sat night. Put it on another night and take something that is not great off.
MOST DEFINITELY! Anxious to see what happens to his daughter! Great storyline and the cast is a good mix of characters.
Please don’t cancel! It’s a great show. I especially like it airing on Saturday nights.

It is my new favourite show. Please bring a new season so it will give me a show I truly call my favourite. It takes more than one season to truly appreciate something good. If it gets cancelled so should a lot of other ones. The actors do a great job and Eric face just melts my heart.

Yes, I would watch – give it a chance. Think people have just not noticed it yet on a Saturday night – lousy time – what about Mondays, Wednesdays or Thursdays!!!
