BEVERLY HILLS, CA – July 26, 2019 – Hallmark Drama, Crown Media Family Networks’ third linear network, will debut two new, original movies in 2020 as part of its strategy of adding original content to the schedule. Slated to debut in 2020, the sequel to the original movie “JL Family Ranch” and the latest installment of fan-favorite movie franchise “Signed, Sealed, Delivered” will mark the latest offerings of Hallmark Drama’s growing slate of proprietary original content and serve as the first original movie premieres developed for the burgeoning network. The announcement was made today as part of Crown Media Family Networks’ bi-annual Television Critics Summer Press Tour.
Starring Jon Voight, Teri Polo, James Caan, Bo Derek, Dylan Walsh, Trevor Donovan Judson Mills, Abby Brammell, and Skyler Shaye the story of “JL Family Ranch,” follows the trials and tribulations of a veteran rancher and former sheriff as he fights the federal bureaucracy to keep his family ranch when a grudge-seeking enemy attempts to throw land ownership into question with false documents.
From acclaimed executive producer Martha Williamson, “Signed, Sealed, Delivered” has been one of Hallmark Movies & Mysteries’ most beloved franchises. The comedic drama follows the lives of postal workers – known as the POstables – who transform themselves into an untraditional team of detectives to track down intended recipients of undeliverable mail. Their missions take them out of the office into an unpredictable world where redirected letters and packages can save lives, solve crimes, reunite old loves and change futures by arriving late but somehow on time. Having first premiered on the network in 2014, the franchise stars Eric Mabius, Kristin Booth, Crystal Lowe, and Geoff Gustafson, who are all reprising their roles.”
What do you think? Are you a fan of the Signed, Sealed, Delivered franchise? Will you watch the new movie?
I think it’s inexcusable that this wonderful family-oriented series is being moved to a channel that requires additional money, above the exorbitant amount that we already pay for cable, to watch! I will not be watching this, and I think it’s a shame that such a wonderful show has succumbed to greed.
Yes. I loved this show. Glad to see it is coming back. I do hope Hallmark will continue to be the wholesome family channels. They are the only channels I and my family watch. Other networks have been pressured into showing movies and shows of same sex couples. so I do not watch them anymore. I would not be unkind to anyone but neither will I watch or buy products that sponsor such shows. That is contrary to family values of at least 80% of American families.
Love Sign sealed and delivered! So excited another is unway!
I love ssd, I have watched every one of them. It was a heart warming show.
I have watched every episode of SSD and was excited to read of a new installment. However, like so many who have already posted, I already pay for two Hallmark stations and have no intentions of paying for a third!! I cannot believe I will now miss it!!!
Loved loved loved the SS&D series. Miss it and am so looking forward to it’s return in the coming year. Please keep us posted to the new installment on Hallmark ch
These are great movies. The characters have great chemistry and it has been lovely to watch the way their relationships are developing. The storylines are interesting and varied and keep you coming back for more. Please expand this series for more frequent movies.
I love Signed Sealed Delivered movies. I pay for expanded Cable and have 2 Hallmark Channels. I won’can’t pay for any more. Please don’t put SSD on a different Hallmark Channel.
I have just been introduced to the series sign sealed deliver this Christmas on the Hallmark Channel. I have watched all of them and I am in love . I’m also sad to have started something so good and for it to end so soon. Why something like this can’t be aired more. My husband Even enjoys it. Hallmark bring SIGN SEALED DELIVERED BACK!
Sad they will require us to pay for yet another channel to watch this beloved story. Seriously Hallmark; paying for cable has become enough of a challenge for some pocketbooks! 🙁 The almighty dollar wins out again. You’d do much better to add credibility to your “brand” by adding this kind of quality show to your existing channels then to turn out handfuls of new movies each season with watered down trite story lines.
I loved the show! It was an interesting take on lost mail! Please keep it going with the same characters! They just clicked with their quirky personalities . It was a great break from the other channels w/shows I won’t watch . Thank you!!
Really enjoy this series so glad it has been renewed.
I haven’t seen anything about the renewal of this show. Please tell me when where and the time please.
I’m so glad and excited to hear that Signed Sealed and Delivered will be returning I missed it very much.
