Mission aborted. History has cancelled its Six TV show after two seasons. The cancellation news comes six episodes into the Navy SEAL series’ 10-episode second season. While there will be no third season, the last four episode of season should play out as scheduled.
A History military combat drama, Six stars Barry Sloane, Kyle Schmid, Juan Pablo Raba, Edwin Hodge, Brianne Davis, Jessica Garza, Nadine Velasquez, Jaylen Moore, Joshua Gage, Olivia Munn, Eric Ladin, Katherine Evans, and Rus Blackwell. The series centers on the modern American warriors of Navy SEAL Team Six. In season two, Joe ‘Bear’ Graves (Sloane) leads the team to join forces with CIA officer Gina Cline (Munn).

The second season of Six is averaging a 0.21 rating in the 18-49 demographic and 803,000 viewers. Compared to season one, that’s down by 47% and 49%, respectively. Find out how Six stacks up against other History TV shows.
According to a Deadline report, the cancellation decision was made now, because cast options are set to expire.

I NEVER, NEVER, NEVER go out of my way to look forward to seeing a great shoe, like SIX and finally, after this AWESOME show comes along…….. they CANCEL IT! WHY???? What is WRONG w/America? NOBODY CARES ABOUT watching a tv series about a self centered gay clothes designer, like “Gianni Versace” or American Idol or “the bachelor” or EVEN WORSE……. “Outlander”…….. Everything I like, always gets DISCONTINUED……. my Pontiac fiero V-6….. my Marlboro skyline cigs and now the great show “SIX”………. an upside down, parallel universe I’m living in!
Six was a great show. Please bring it back for season 3. So many loose ends. How will Bear move on? What happens to Michael Nasry? What happens to Alex? What happened to his daughter? Did she buy the surf shop? Where did she go? ? Did Fish pull through? I need to know!!!

I am very disappointed in the History channel for cancelling this series. My husband and I are baffled as to how and/or why it could have been cancelled.
Please don’t. I haven’t truly enjoyed a great show of this caliber in a very long time
I find good things to watch on History.com, but I never go there unless I’m watching SIX. Without that show, History.com won’t be getting my business.
I think it’s because of Munn’s character not feeling realistic…. Sorry, but I don’t think she was based off a real life person… She’s killing all these guys, kicking guys butts, then yelling orders at the seals telling them how it is…..
Please renew six for a 3rd season!
Just finished watching the season 2 Finale of SIX and went on immediately to see when season 3 starts to find it was cancelled?!?!? NO!!!!! This is such a great series and I’m so disappointed. History Channel, really?!? There are so many senseless shows on television these days. It was nice to have a real show that represents our military and service men and woman. Bad call..right the wrong please!!!
So disappointed History Channel that you cancelled Six, this is as the only show my husband and I loved watching together! All the stupid shows on tv today that get renewed for many seasons, then a good decent one comes along that both male and female can relate to and love gets cancelled with only the second season unbelievable!!! Bye History Channel you’ve lost my family from watching your channel.
This is truly sad. This was a great show. As usual a show gets a lousy 10 episodes in its second season and the network pulls the plug. Come on Netflix pick this show up!!
This was one of the only shows we regularly watched this is an absolute terrible call on behalf of the history channel. Hopefully they will open there eyes and bring it back
Don’t cancel Six. It’s a great show. Lack of advertising doomed it. More people needed to know about it. Give it another chance!
History Channel – You really made a big mistake cancelling this show! Bring it back and let us intelligent people have a network we can go to for quality shows!
