Sleepy Hollow ended its run with four season, and one star of the series teased a bit about what might have happened if the series had returned for a fifth season.
Janina Gavankar spoke with TV Line about the end of season four and the impact it would have had on season five of the FOX series. She said the following:
“I do think that we ended on a great note, story-wise. Crane is off in [Washington,] D.C. He’s really found his footing. Jenny and he have found a new home there. He and Diana are going off strong, taking down a kraken, of all things! How do we handle the sirens and the kraken, all water-worldly creatures? Nobody told me the answer, but they were deciding whether or not Lara — older Molly — was going to be part of the cast and all of the stories. I wanted to know what happened to my baby daddy? Did we call to tell him, ‘It’s OK, we know that you’re not a werewolf?’”

I really really enjoyed the series, but I would of wanted to see the original witness come back. I was so looking forward to watching season 5. It’s too bad I just found out about the series as I was surfing Hulu. Honestly, the writer did a poor job closing season 4.
My wife and I have just finished the very last episode here in the uk (Scotland). Although we too were annoyed that Abbie, one of the main characters, was killed off very early in the series, this show is an amazing one. There has to be some other network out there that will take this show on and keep the series going. In our opinion this has been one of the very best programs ever written and we want it back. They should have kept the series
going to see what really happened between dianna and crain.i think another tv station should pick it up and take it further. Its a discrase to abbies memory to cancel without abbies soul knows that crain has found love and is well cared for so her soul could move on and not worry about crain and her sister jenny.
Please bring Sleepy Hollow back it is one of my favorite shows, everyone it ends it makes me want more just to see where it goes!!
