The beat won’t go on for one FOX series. The network has cancelled their Star TV show so it won’t be back for a fourth season.
A music industry drama, Star’s cast includes Queen Latifah, Brandy Norwood, Jude Demorest, Ryan Destiny, Brittany O’Grady, Amiyah Scott, Quincy Brown, Miss Lawrence, Luke James, Lance Gross, Luke James, Matthew Noszka, and William Levy. The series, set in Atlanta, follows the story of three talented young female singers and their rise to fame. The third season picks up three months after the conclusion of season two as Star (Demorest) returns home and the fates of Alex (Destiny) and Simone (O’Grady) are revealed.
The third season of Star on FOX is averaging a 1.08 rating in the 18-49 demographic and 3.58 million viewers. Compared to season two, that’s down by 18% in the demo and down by 13% in viewership. While it’s not one of FOX’s top-rated programs, the series continues to rank in the network’s top 10 series.

Why? Why did you cancel STAR. You keep cancelling all the good shows and leaving all the dumb ones. Before you consider cancelling, maybe get votes from T.V. viewers first. STAR was very entertaining. BRING IT BACK!!!! And Empire!!!! One person shouldn’t have messed it up for everyone…

I want to see Star come back on. This show shows so much light on today’s life. In the inner and outer city’s.I cried so much as I watched the last episode of season 3. And screamed my head off as shots ringed out during the wedding reception. My family came running in my room asking what happened to me. And lol when they found out it was only because of the show. This is very saddening. They are just leaving us clueless as to everything that happens at the wedding. This show should be renewed or have a one night movie spew it yo finish the story for the 3.84 million people that dedicated time to season 3
I love the show star! It has many many messages about life itself . Messages about becoming an adult, forgiveness, reality, dreams, and how to fulfill them., and many more. I hate to see the show get cancelled. Please bring back STAR!!!
Star is my life. I’ve been looking forward to it since season 3 ended the way it did. I am so upset and I have no idea what I am going to do now.

I believe star should definitely have a season 4 the suspense was already built and if it a top 10 series aren’t there other shows they could cancel instead
