The beat won’t go on for one FOX series. The network has cancelled their Star TV show so it won’t be back for a fourth season.
A music industry drama, Star’s cast includes Queen Latifah, Brandy Norwood, Jude Demorest, Ryan Destiny, Brittany O’Grady, Amiyah Scott, Quincy Brown, Miss Lawrence, Luke James, Lance Gross, Luke James, Matthew Noszka, and William Levy. The series, set in Atlanta, follows the story of three talented young female singers and their rise to fame. The third season picks up three months after the conclusion of season two as Star (Demorest) returns home and the fates of Alex (Destiny) and Simone (O’Grady) are revealed.
The third season of Star on FOX is averaging a 1.08 rating in the 18-49 demographic and 3.58 million viewers. Compared to season two, that’s down by 18% in the demo and down by 13% in viewership. While it’s not one of FOX’s top-rated programs, the series continues to rank in the network’s top 10 series.

I love star I been watching it since it first started we need to have season 4 theres more to the story he still need to found out who killed his grandma and star needs to get back with baby daddy. And etc
This show was amazing. The drama …the passion …the love ..me and all my friends even my mother was on edge at the end of every episode..if we could get a final episode with some closer I’m sure thier fan base will zoom in definitely
I loved the series Star and it was a good show. I was looking forward to the new season. This is not fair for the people who enjoying the show. At least give us a closing. All I want to know is why?????? Great cast, Great writers who touched a lot of life issues. Such a great show.

Star has always been my go to show since day one of it airing. They would remove star and keep Empire. SMH. Empire plot is getting so played out to me but star always kept you on your toes when it came to new episodes. I wish they would bring it back and make me happy to even watch FOX again!!
Yes I’m majorly saddened that STAR has been cancelled ! I cant believe it ! It’s such a great show! I’ve watched since the very first show. Pretty disgusted that FOX won’t renew it !
