New York [Aug. 8, 2019] When homeowners love their neighborhood, but have outgrown their house, real estate and home renovation experts Brad and Heather Fox swoop in to save the day in HGTV’s new series Stay or Sell. Premiering Tuesday, Aug. 27, at 9 p.m. ET/PT, the series spotlights the husband-wife duo as they present their Minneapolis-area clients with two options – renovate their current home or buy another property nearby that can be customized. Once they decide to stay or sell, Brad and Heather get to work creating a dream family home.
“There are a lot of people who need more house but don’t want to move out of their neighborhood,” said Brad. “That means they have to choose between living in a house that’s too small or moving away. That’s where we come in.”
“We give people an option – build onto your current house or find another home nearby to make amazing,” continued Heather. “If you’re not living in the house of your dreams, it might just be around the corner.”
In the series premiere, Brad and Heather work with a young couple who love their current home’s large lot and great neighborhood but also want more space and an open concept layout. After looking at several nearby for-sale properties, they ultimately decide to let the Foxes overhaul their existing home in a rustic mid-century style. To create the perfect spaces for the family, Brad and Heather build a master suite addition, reimagine the dull exterior and create a large open floorplan featuring a luxurious kitchen and stunning floor-to-ceiling slate tile fireplace.
Throughout the season, the Foxes create gorgeous home transformations by incorporating custom designs tailored for each client, including a stylish nursery renovation that reveals the baby’s gender, wall murals by local artisans and family heirlooms repurposed into fresh décor.
“When the homeowners get to see the finished product and imagine living there with their families, it’s pretty awesome,” said Heather, while Brad added, “it’s the ultimate payoff.”

What do you think? Are you a fan of home renovation series? Will you watch Stay or Sell?
I love this show and hope it will be on again. HGTV doesn’t have the quality of shows they used to and Stay or Sell was definitely one of the best new ones in a long time.
We LOVE Stay or Sell. Please give us at least one more season
Love the show and the fox’s Please don’t cancel
Yes please renew
I watch a lot of hgtv because I love their shows. But stay or sell have been one of my all time favorite and can’t wait for next season. Loved it!!!
It is October 22, 2019, and the new show is gone? Where is stay or sell? It was a great little show and whatever this show is on tonight in its place SUCKS. Boring as all get out.
LOVE the show!!! Actual REAL people, use local small businesses and have real house reno- numbers!! not fake numbers like some other “FLIP” show…. that has not “FLOPPED.”
Worst HGTV show ever… not impressed with either one.
I LOVE THIS NEW HGTV PROGRAM! BRAD AND HEATHER MAKE THIS SERIES THEIR OWN AS
IF IT WAS THE ONLY ONE ON TV!!!!
Please don’t cancel it!
He seems clueless, too busy flirting with his co host.
I watched 2 episodes and can’t watch anymore. Didnt like their ideas – they were clueless on some the the homes’ problems. Also, WHAT IS WITH HER ERRINGS?? I wouldnt be confident in them fixing up my home. Thumbs down.
I do agree with the earrings. But I like the show.
Absolutely the worst show I’ve ever seen. This is what happens when you have realtors pretending to be renovation experts. Every house has toxic black mold. Hello— this is bad for you. They literally charge people $250,000 in renovations to paint and get a few kitchen cabinets and a neon sign. They do not add value look at Flip or Flop in California. That is way more expensive and for $60,000 you can have a state of the art backyard. You don’t think a house from 1973 needs a new roof!!????? They come across really lame, unlikable and like they… Read more »
Ummm yeah, a kitchen renovation in California for $10,000?? SO unrealistic!!! Stay or Sell has REAL numbers!!!, not just “adding paint and a neon sign”, adding an entire floor for the $250,000. Also, flip or Flop are also realtors pretenting to be reno experts!!! SMH
None of these shows have real numbers. A second story for $40,000? Not in Minnesota. We’ve done an addition and a kitchen remodel. I know that isn’t a real price.
How about a spin off -stay or sell TC suburbs? I know several empty nesters that need renovations for forever home or downsizing! Let me know, Lisa
I just watched 2 episodes and abaolutely LOVE it! They are down to earth amd charming. Their ideas are realistic and fun. I hope to see many more episodes, its a keeper.
I’ll be watching!
