An American-British Hulu drama, The First stars Sean Penn, Natascha McElhone, LisaGay Hamilton, Hannah Ware, Keiko Agena, Rey Lucas, James Ransone, Anna Jacoby-Heron, Melissa George, Brian Lee Franklin, and Oded Fehr. The story centers on the astronaut crew attempting to be the first humans on Mars, as well as the families they’ll leave behind.

I loved this. I was moved by the acting, the music, the visuals. I remember the space program, I remember looking up at the moon in 1968. PLEASE RENEW.

Refreshing to see a well made emotional roller coaster which deals so well with the characters professional and personal life’s, Shawn proves to us once again his depth and dedication to his acting pays off and makes the viewers feel every turn and twist.please please start
on series 2 as soon as possible.

I am somewhat indifferent about cancellation or renewal. I felt oftentimes that the show dragged on. I agree that some of the individual performances were outstanding. I wasn’t prepared for the fact that the show was more about their personal lives and less about the science aspect. At times, I felt it was terribly boring.

Acting is superb from all. Sean Penn is excellent, and Natascha McElhone is… WOW. I’d be very unpleasantly surprised if The First doesn’t get a season 2.
Fantastic show! Pulled me in and really covered the truth of how it would be. Loved it! HOPE IT’S RENEWED!! There aren’t very many shows that I truly like. Never noticed the “acting” in this show. If I notice the acting I’m not involved in the show. Actors were phenomenal.
What an incredible show! So little dialog.. really little action. The acting is top notch; the character-building has been phenomenal. This show is a ‘must see!’ I am hoping that it is renewed!
