It appears that this cooking show is done. The Good Dish TV series has been cancelled so, there won’t be a second season — at least in its current form.
Airing in first-run syndication, The Good Dish premiered on January 14th of this year as a replacement to The Dr. Oz Show. The latter series was brought to a close after 13 seasons when host Mehmet Oz announced he would run for a U.S. Senate seat in Pennsylvania.
Hosted by Oz’s daughter Daphne, a natural foods chef, with culinary expert Gail Simmons and chef Jamika Pessoahe, The Good Dish is an expansion of Daphne’s weekly cooking segment on Dr. Oz. The series sought to present easy-to-recreate recipes, simple shortcuts, money-saving tips, must-have trends, and effortless how-tos.
Producer Sony Pictures Television had tried to sell a similar show in syndication in 2019 without success. Reportedly, Sony TV is exploring options to continue The Good Dish via cable or a streaming outlet.

I really hate that The Good Dish was taken off. I tuned in to watch it and it was not on. I looked forward to seeing what dishes were being prepared so that I could prepare something delicious for my family. Really wish that it would come back in some form.
I was a real fan of the show, actually at least two or three times a week download some of the same recipes and tried to myself, very successfully! I was really shocked when the show went off the air. It was a pretty fun format not only cooking but with guest chefs and celebrities which made it kind of interesting Bring it back!

Loved The Good Dish. Watched it everyday. Told many friends about it and for them to tune in. Entertaining, educational. Why are all the good shows cancelled?

I loved The Good Dish. It was fun & educational. Why are the good shows cancelled? Who makes these decisions for us? Please bring it back. If you want to cancel something, take off bachelorette and bachelor. Now those are truly worthless shows
Of course, they would cancel a good informative show! It seems all these networks want to do is give us these stupid game shows and tacky caddy talk shows, with a bunch of women that just giggle in their high-pitched voices! Now these shows are also on prime time, all the good drama shows have been canceled same with daytime. anything informative and educational they cancel. do we, the consumer who watched and enjoyed the show get a say. or not until its taken off then let us say how much we were learning…..oh, ok remove the show people can actually build their families up, with quality dinners.
Extremely sad the good dish has been canceled. They didn’t give it a chance. I looked forward to the show everyday. Loved the girls. Very inspirational for cooking mealtime. Will miss it very much.
I truly enjoyed this show. I love the recipes that are very everyday. I love the interaction of the host and I appreciate the gift. It is a delight and a treat to watch

The Good Dish is one of the worst show
s ever produced. INSTEAD OF A COOKING SHOW IT WAS A FREE FO ALL TALK SHOW FOR VAROUUS ENTERTAINMMENT PEOPLE. Whenever the 3 did cook; they talked above each other – one louder than the other, so you could not hear the recipes being prepared. Very sad – expected a lot more from Daphne Oz.
I thought it was Great. Very disappointed.
