TV show description:
A sitcom set in Garrison, Colorado, The Ranch follows the dysfunctional Bennett family on their Iron River Ranch. Each season of 20 episodes is split into two 10-episode parts, and Netflix primarily ignores season numbering entirely, by using the sequential “part” numbers, instead.
The multi-camera comedy centers Colt (Kutcher). After a fifteen-year absence, including a short, failed semi-pro football career, Colt returns home to help his big brother Jameson “Rooster” (Masterson) and father Beau (Elliott) run the ranch.
Maggie (Winger) is Colt and Rooster’s mother and owns the local bar. A free-spirit who also grows weed, Maggie is separated from Beau and lives in a trailer behind her business.
Rooster is the son who remained home and worked the family business, while his big shot brother was off living it up, so there is tension between them, when Colt returns. The two do have some things in common — particularly drinking and womanizing.
A prickly, Vietnam Vet, Beau has run the ranch since the death of his own father. Politicians aggravate him just about as much as his sons’ irresponsible tendencies.
The series highlights these flawed people’s relationships with one another as well as with the other people in their lives.
Series Finale:
Episode #80 — Take Me Home, Country Roads
In the series finale, Luke opens up about his struggles, Maggie throws one last Christmas party at the bar, and Colt gives Beau a heartwarming gift.
First aired: January 24, 2020.
What do you think? Do you like The Ranch TV show? Should it have ended or been renewed for a fifth season on Netflix?
Unbelievably excellent series. Please continue for many series to come. Lee, Wasilla, Ak.
This is my all time favorite show. I love the dialogue and the great chemistry everyone has on set. PLEASE renew this for many more seasons to come!
The series should definitely be continued, and the sooner the better.
Absolutely renew for part 6 this unusual and intrigueing drama – comedy love it!!!!
I think this series is vulgar, unintelligent and predictable in its attempt at humour. This programme “dumbs down” audiences and does not inspire cultural advancement or social responsibility. It reduces the standards and quality of broadcasting. If this is a popular series, well, we can link it to the general demise of societal standards, the lack of respect for people and animals and the throw-away society that requires instant gratification rather than kindness and empathy for others. We live in a plastic, immoral and selfish society. This show portrays that. Sadly it suggests that this is a problem of Caucasian… Read more »

I can not wait for it return with the entire cast. I look forward to watching this series and miss it so much. Please continue I have spoken with my friend half are watching been watching and the others are now watching the past ones.
my husband and I absolutely love this series. waiting for next airing.
Keep it going. Can’t end with Rooster being run off by Jailbird
OMG…I did not realize that was the season ending… I about cried when I realized that was it for now.
We have watched all five series and love it too. We are hoping it is not cancelled.
We love the show, keep it coming back for renewed seasons! Rooster helps make the show with the other characters, so writing him off briefly, until proven guilty, should be the way to go with the story lines….again, that’s his personal life–keep the show going for all of us to enjoy!
