HBO is taking y’al to church. The network just announced the premiere date for their new TV show, The Righteous Gemstones.
The comedy series “tells the story of a world-famous televangelist family with a long tradition of deviance, greed and charitable work.” The cast includes John Goodman, Danny McBride, Adam Devine, and Edi Patterson.
The Righteous Gemstones debuts on HBO on August 18th at 10 p.m. ET/PT.
