Will John and his fellow officers survive the second season of The Rookie TV show on ABC? As we all know, the Nielsen ratings typically play a big role in determining whether a TV show like The Rookie is cancelled or renewed for season three. Unfortunately, most of us do not live in Nielsen households. Because many viewers feel frustration when their viewing habits and opinions aren’t considered, we invite you to rate all of the second season episodes of The Rookie here. *Status update below.
An ABC A police drama, The Rookie TV show stars Nathan Fillion, Alyssa Diaz, Richard T. Jones, Titus Makin Jr., Melissa O’Neil, and Eric Winter. The series follows the experiences of John Nolan (Fillion), a middle-aged divorced man from Pennsylvania. He owns a construction company but decides to give up his old life to pursue a new career as a police officer in the Los Angeles Police Department. He graduates from the Police Academy and becomes the oldest rookie on the force. He works with Sergeant Wade Grey (Jones), training officers Angela Lopez (Diaz) and Tim Bradford (Winter), and fellow rookies Jackson West (Makin Jr.) and Lucy Chen (O’Neil). As season two begins, John is six months into his career as a cop and is put to the test by new challenges, romantic relationships, and potentially deadly situations.

Best show I’ve watched in a long time. It just keeps getting better
The Rookie is a very good program. It’s a great one for clean, acceptable family entertainment and still interesting adult content. This is another one that I would say is a real keeper based on my above comments. When I find a program that is acceptable for the entire family with all the excellent components this program offers, you keep hoping that it won’t be canceled. It is definitely a keeper!!

I loved Nathan Fillion in Castle and still do, so yes a keeper.
The Rookie gets better and better with each show. Always wondering who is in trouble next week! And NF tweeted a pic from next weeks episode, that has his followers “in a twitter” – Nolan’s badge has a black stripe across the middle. Now we have a week to wonder why has died now! I am still sad about the death of the captain in season 1. Hope this show has a long life ahead. I really love this show! There is comedy, drama, comradery, romance and eye candy for men and women. I love Nolan, Tim, Lucy…all the cast. It is a show I never miss! I really hope it is renewed for season 3. It is at the top of my favorite ABC shows!!

Love this series’s. Hope it stays on. It’s really great to see some shows that are not full of science fiction crap. Or zombies. They seem to cancel shows that teaches the Public real life situations, instead of teaching our kids make believe stuff.
Good luck hope we can keep this show longer.
