TV show description:
Detective Casey Shraeger (Amber Tamblyn) starts her day as an undercover hooker working for the NYPD vice department but is suddenly and unexpectedly transferred to the division’s homicide unit. The young officer finds herself thrust into a crazy world that’s full of dark humor, bodies, and bullets. Casey’s immediately partnered with Detective Jason Walsh (Jeremy Renner). Their first assignment together isn’t any easy one — find the killer of Walsh’s former partner.
As the pair seeks out the cop killer, Casey begins to realize that the force is full of secrets and that’s just fine considering she has a few of her own. It’s also a place where it helps to have a twisted sense of humor, since every day could be your last.
Partners Eric Delahoy (Adam Goldberg) and Leo Banks (Harold Perrineau) are polar opposites. Delahoy has a serious deathwish while Banks is so cautious that he refuses to remove his bulletproof vest.
Detective Eddie Alvarez (Kai Lennox) is a practical joke-playing social climber who has no problem stealing cases if they’ll get him some front-page coverage in the papers.
Meanwhile, Detective Henry Cole (Josh Close) is a religious guy who’s trying to keep his secret past from both his streetwise partner, Allison Beaumont (Monique Gabriela Curnen), and Sgt. Harvey Brown (Terry Kinney), who is struggling to rid the 2nd precinct of corruption.

Please leave the Unusuals on the air. I started watching both the Unusuals and Southland and wow – Southland SUCKS!!!! It is nice to find a light humor cop show. It definately give you a different look then all the other police shows out there. They are all the same… At least with the Unusuals you are getting a witty, humourous variety show. If it is not going to be renewed please conclude as many story lines as possible.
Don’t CANCEL this show the quirkiness is what makes this show great!
Enjoyed Unusuals; however it was put into a bad time slot. It was up against CSI NY, Law & Order & Murdoch which I also loved. As I can only tape 2 shows & watch 1 (that is if I am home to watch the 3rd); my top choices were CSI NY, Law & Order and Murchoch; in that order.
Put into a differenct time slot and don’t cancel it.
Please don’t canel this wonderful show! Keep making more great episodes for us to enjoy. Thanks.
I love this show…Please don’t cancel it. ABC this is a winner give it a chance
This show is great! It has a refreshing twist on a cop show. PLEASE DO NOT CANCELl!!!
Enjoying this show. ABC aired maybe 2 episodes before folks started talking cancellation. Very disappointing. ABC hasn’t kept a decent new show since Grey’s Anatomy started what 4 years ago. When a show is cancelled before even 4 episodes have aired its clear the network never even gave it a chance. Too bad.
Just looked this up to check when it would be on again only to discover that it is being cancelled. I still haven’t forgiven ABC for canceling Miracles. This is just another instance of good writing, good acting, damn good story line not getting a chance. ABC simply doesn’t have the courage of its convictions. Letting another fine show go. I agree with the above comments; viewer loyalty in re this network isn’t working for me either.
Love this show! It’s funny and quirky… but as the writing is good, it’ll probably be cancelled. Everytime I love a show with great writing and clever plots, it gets canned. AAAAHHHH…… Come on TV… have faith! and Stop cancelling shows…. everyone DVRs stuff these days, you’ve got to start calculating your viewership new ways.
LOVE THIS SHOW!!!!! DO NOT CANCEL IT PLEASE!!!!!!!
I haven’t liked a cop show this much since “Homicide” Please keep the show on. It gets better every episode. I love the characters and the offbeat story lines. If it gets cancelled, I give up on television!!!
A very engaging show that deserves a wider audience. I hope they keep it.
I love the show, and want to see more of it. I love the actors and the rolls they play.
Please Keep It!
Seriously??!!! They’re already going to cancel this show? I LOVE this show!!! Think ABC – eventually, viewer loyalty has to be a deciding factor for your network. Otherwise…what’s the point of watching ANYTHING that you guys show, if you don’t ever keep anything for more than one season…regardless of how much people like it. Just take a page out of CBS’s book and only do things like “Harper’s Island”, so we’ll all KNOW it’s going to end after the season’s over, and we won’t get hooked on any more great shows!
