TV show description:
An American drama, from creator Mike Daniels, The Village TV show centers on the residents of a Brooklyn apartment building. While it looks the same as countless others from the outside, what goes on inside is rare, to say the least.
Over time, the residents of the Village have forged a powerful bond. They are more than neighbors — they’re friends and a family of choice.
The “Villagers” include Sarah Campbell (McManus) a nurse and single mother of a teenager; Gabe Napolitano (Kagasoff), a young law student; Ana Behzadi (Atias), a mother who fears the reach of ICE will touch her US-born son; military veteran Nick Porter (Christie); and Ron and Patricia Davis (Faison and Toussaint), who anchor the whole gang.
Everyone at the Village has a story to tell, be it about their hopes and dreams, or the challenges they’re facing. Together, they’re a family and family means everything — even when you are not related.

Patricia (Lorraine Toussaint) deals with her diagnosis, which leads to an unexpected chance at re-connection for Ron (Frankie Faison). Enzo (Dominic Chianese) enlists Gabe (Daren Kagasoff) to pull off a grand gesture. Ben (Jerod Haynes) faces his future and his past.

I am SO disappointed! This was one of the best shows on TV and I was SO hoping it would get renewed for at least another season. Its awful when they do this and the story was left unfinished. AT a minimum they should air a last episode or two to wrap things up. Please reconsider cancelling this great series!
No! It was a REALLY good show! I looked forward to it every week. It was something different! No cops, attorneys , reality , or medical themes! There’s quite a few groups on Facebook upset.
I don’t understand why they keep canceling shows that are so good. This show has so many points in life and how to work through them. Its very family oriented but this network would rather play series that show dark and twisted to life.
There are so few series that all so well cast, story lines so real. Who needs Madam secretary, Grey’s Anatomy and others. Someone in command definitely needs to re-think this one!
Very disappointed!!!! My daughter & I looked forward to watching The Village every week. Characters/actors were fantastic, relatable story lines & diverse community. Don’t understand why it was cancelled, everyone I know watched The Village.
Fingers crossed this will get picked up by another network or Netflix if NBC doesn’t see the value of renewing and how disappointed fans are.
This show was one of the best. I can’t believe it’s not being renewed. I think it’s better than This is Us.

What the hell is wrong with these people who keep cancelling all the good new shows? Don’t they ever pay attention to what is good. They are all a bunch of idiots.
I am SOOOOOO bummed that this show has been canceled. Shame on the network for the cancellation of this series. It is my favorite show after THIS IS US.
NBC has once again proved to me that they are the NoBodyCares station. Cancelling The Village was the worse thing they have ever done. This was an outstanding series with characters you could relate to; brilliant dialogue, and fabulous music. All NBC cares about is their bottom line, disregarding what fans truly enjoy. Shame on you NBC!

I really liked this show, the characters were likable and had real life problems. Really need some dramas that aren’t all twisted and dark. Tired of the end of the Law & Order franchises. I have gotten to the point of not watching anything and reading a book instead. They cancelled 2 shows I really liked this season on this network (liked the Enemy Within too) shame on NBC

I am so upset that the show was canceled. I guess I know now, never to watch a new show 0n the first season. I get invested in the people and their lives and then it gets canceled. I huge NBC fan watch mostly NBC shows. I hope you reconsider the cancellation of this excellent show, I am 53 years old. My friend is 78 and loves it.. We love discussing it.
I think the cast was multi cultural and multigenerational and was ab asset to the tv options. I hope if NBC doesn’t reconsider that another Network picks it up.
I’m so disappointed The Village was cancelled! Hopeful that it will be picked up by another network. Please don’t let the story end there.
