TV show description:
An American drama, from creator Mike Daniels, The Village TV show centers on the residents of a Brooklyn apartment building. While it looks the same as countless others from the outside, what goes on inside is rare, to say the least.
Over time, the residents of the Village have forged a powerful bond. They are more than neighbors — they’re friends and a family of choice.
The “Villagers” include Sarah Campbell (McManus) a nurse and single mother of a teenager; Gabe Napolitano (Kagasoff), a young law student; Ana Behzadi (Atias), a mother who fears the reach of ICE will touch her US-born son; military veteran Nick Porter (Christie); and Ron and Patricia Davis (Faison and Toussaint), who anchor the whole gang.
Everyone at the Village has a story to tell, be it about their hopes and dreams, or the challenges they’re facing. Together, they’re a family and family means everything — even when you are not related.

Enzo (Dominic Chianese) enlists Gabe (Daren Kagasoff) to pull off a grand gesture. Ben (Jerod Haynes) faces his future and his past.

Really enjoyed this show and was looking forward to season two. It is different from many other shows and the cast is great. Please bring it back.
so upset, FINALLY a nice drama that we can all relate to. the major networks forgot about 35-60 age viewer’s!! everything is Reality, competitive Tv etc..(we could care less)..I and even my husband commented FINALLY a show that portrays LIFE as we all know it!!Major network’s PLEASE give these show’s more than a limited 7 or 8 show’s..(remember the most major hit’s “the BIG BOYS IN CHARGE” said no way..and made the most$ for the network..
so disappointed , was hoping for a season two. this was actually good drama, with engaging characters. instead we will be subjected to more reality dreck and reboots of old game shows
why? Such a good show.

Another great show cancelled. It turned out to be one of the BEST shows ever. Not a doctor show, not a NCIS show, not a police show, a really good time drama, with really story lines that everyone can relate to. All the actors were fantastic too!!! I hope another network (not a subscription network) picks them up. Most importantly airing really good shows, mid season can be problematic. This is where it gets lost in the shuffle. This was the best show and story line. Real life drama and emotion. I will miss this show. I was emotionally invested in the show.
I am sooo disappointed… The Village is the first new show in years that warrants renewal after just a portion of a season! Great story development, great character actors…I am very sorry to hear this cancellation! Is there any chance of changing status, or will no one admit they’ve made a gigantic mistake? This is the first show I have watched every episode more than twice…
Best show on the air and it’s cancelled? BIG MISTAKE! Hope someone else picks this up. I don’t like most TV series shows, but I’ve seen every episode and look forward to more.
This was a great show! I put it up there with This Is Us! One of the best that NBC has aired in a long time. Can’t believe it’s being canceled.
Cannot believe this show is being cancelled. It was one of the best shows this season. Everyone I know has been following this from episode 1. How can you NOT renew it?
