TV show description:
An American drama, from creator Mike Daniels, The Village TV show centers on the residents of a Brooklyn apartment building. While it looks the same as countless others from the outside, what goes on inside is rare, to say the least.
Over time, the residents of the Village have forged a powerful bond. They are more than neighbors — they’re friends and a family of choice.
The “Villagers” include Sarah Campbell (McManus) a nurse and single mother of a teenager; Gabe Napolitano (Kagasoff), a young law student; Ana Behzadi (Atias), a mother who fears the reach of ICE will touch her US-born son; military veteran Nick Porter (Christie); and Ron and Patricia Davis (Faison and Toussaint), who anchor the whole gang.
Everyone at the Village has a story to tell, be it about their hopes and dreams, or the challenges they’re facing. Together, they’re a family and family means everything — even when you are not related.

Patricia (Lorraine Toussaint) deals with her diagnosis, which leads to an unexpected chance at re-connection for Ron (Frankie Faison). Enzo (Dominic Chianese) enlists Gabe (Daren Kagasoff) to pull off a grand gesture. Ben (Jerod Haynes) faces his future and his past.

Disappointed that “The Village” has been canceled. It was a refreshing human drama, real life…not the stupid reality shows that dominate most channels! Please rethink bringing it back….
I loved this show “The Village” I guess it wasn’t part of the “agenda” to have a pregnant teen NOT have an abortion. PP must have not liked this choice being put out there on national TV. Too bad/ it was a good story with lots of sub stories.
The Village was a great show. It started out slowly unwinding its large cast of charicters like a good book wrapping you in it’s introductions and making you crave for more. love the characters depth and knowing that we were just scratching the surface of their lives. This show had the potential of being a long running ensemble with tons of room for story lines. I was loving each one of them in different ways. Loved this show-one of the few programs worth staying home for. So disappointed they chose to cancel such a well done and engaging show!

In fact my husband even liked it and there aren’t many shows I watch that he also likes.
This was one of the best new series to come along in a very long time. I was so looking forward to a new season. I think it is a bad decision to cancel such a great show. The show had so many connections to all the charcters,. I am sad and will miss it.

My husband and I loved the Village. I hope they reconsider and give them another season. I keep seeing it compared to This Is Us. I must be a different type of person, because I couldn’t get into that show. Loved The Village though.

I loved The Village. It’s a heart warming show where no judgement on race or gender people were together and in one another’s lives because they chose to.
I loved this show, hope they rethink bringing it back. The Village was much better than all the silly Reality Shows out there which I don’t bother to watch.
