TV show description:
An American drama, from creator Mike Daniels, The Village TV show centers on the residents of a Brooklyn apartment building. While it looks the same as countless others from the outside, what goes on inside is rare, to say the least.
Over time, the residents of the Village have forged a powerful bond. They are more than neighbors — they’re friends and a family of choice.
The “Villagers” include Sarah Campbell (McManus) a nurse and single mother of a teenager; Gabe Napolitano (Kagasoff), a young law student; Ana Behzadi (Atias), a mother who fears the reach of ICE will touch her US-born son; military veteran Nick Porter (Christie); and Ron and Patricia Davis (Faison and Toussaint), who anchor the whole gang.
Everyone at the Village has a story to tell, be it about their hopes and dreams, or the challenges they’re facing. Together, they’re a family and family means everything — even when you are not related.

Enzo (Dominic Chianese) enlists Gabe (Daren Kagasoff) to pull off a grand gesture. Ben (Jerod Haynes) faces his future and his past.

Oh no so sad! I really enjoyed The Village and was looking forward to season 2. Why can’t the networks give shows a fair chance especially with great actors and great storylines. Does everything have to be ‘reality tv’? Yuk!!

PLease bring the village back, this show shows how all different kinds of people from all walks of life can get along, love one another, co-exist as extended families together! It gives you real life situations with real life outcomes that aren’t sugar coated! ITs real life at Its worst and it’s best and while I Love this is us is, that show is limited to one family this show gives you a broader picture of what real life is

Incredibly disappointed to read that this show has been canceled. It was one of the few that I actually looked forward to watching. I really hope something changes and they decide to renew…
Nooooo! This show was so good. Different ethnicities, age groups, even factoring in military & addressing PTSD. Grrr….bring this one back!
This was a great show because of the cast and the script. It was very well played as each individual’s personal suits were melded into each other. Perhaps, a little more comedic situations would have strengthened th e comeradie.
I can’t believe this show is cancelled. It is one of the few programs with interest from all ages. What a bad move.
