Cancellation cancelled! Earlier this week, NBC cancelled Eric Kripke and Shawn Ryan’s Timeless TV show, but now the Peacock Network has reversed its decision and renewed Timeless for a second season of 10 episodes.
A time travel drama, Timeless stars Abigail Spencer, Matt Lanter, Malcolm Barrett, and Goran Visnjic. The NBC cast also includes Paterson Joseph, Sakina Jaffrey and Claudia Doumit. It looks like the Lifeboat will be around for season two.

THR reports that although at one point, Kripke said Timeless, season two, would air in the summer of 2018, it is possible the 10-episode installment could return in spring, instead.

Another site said part of the renewal agreement was that it would be more “family friendly”. I don’t remember much T&A on this show (though I was often multi-tasking). Maybe the first or an early episode had a changing clothes scene with some nice cleavage. What did I miss? Thankfully, I don’t recall any male-male in your face sodomy (as in Mr Robot, Nashville, HTGAWM & other ‘yuck’ shows).

About time the big dogs at the Network did something. But only 10 ? Common at least 18. Now if they could get their act together about The Blacklist and Blindspot and put them back into their original time slots ratings would improve.
