Cancellation cancelled! Earlier this week, NBC cancelled Eric Kripke and Shawn Ryan’s Timeless TV show, but now the Peacock Network has reversed its decision and renewed Timeless for a second season of 10 episodes.
A time travel drama, Timeless stars Abigail Spencer, Matt Lanter, Malcolm Barrett, and Goran Visnjic. The NBC cast also includes Paterson Joseph, Sakina Jaffrey and Claudia Doumit. It looks like the Lifeboat will be around for season two.

THR reports that although at one point, Kripke said Timeless, season two, would air in the summer of 2018, it is possible the 10-episode installment could return in spring, instead.

I’m very happy to hear that Timeless will be back! When Lucy’s sister disappeared from history on the first episode, I was intrigued and I’ve been a fan ever since, (even got my husband to watch) we both enjoy history. The acting is wonderful! I’m not a fan of reality TV which has reached epidemic levels! Thanks very much for saving Timeless!
Compared to school, I think it’s the only way my grandkids get any history content at all!

Great news!! Had ordered the the first season on VUDU, before the Pilot aired. Fantastic show. Don’t think they took into consideration those who purchased and watched when their schedules permitted.
So happy TIMELESS is back!! If we have to wait until 2018 – that’s okay – TIME WILL GO BY – as time does! It’s an awesome show with great characters; pathos; humour and a fabulous story line. The attention to detail and production values are excellent. Don’t even think about not renewing it – For fans, this show is #1!!

It was my family’s favorite show though I wish it wasn’t across from Scorpion on CBS, we recorded Scorpion and watched Timeless! Really well done historically, I’m a historian and attorney. Try not to pit it against CBS most popular shows next time for “ratings”, dah!
