Is Whiskey Cavalier coming back? Deadline reports ABC is considering reviving the cancelled TV show for a second season.
The drama series centers on FBI Agent Will Chase (Scott Foley), codename: “Whiskey Cavalier” and CIA operative Frankie Trowbridge (Lauren Cohan), codename: “Fiery Tribune.” Although they start off as rivals, they’re soon assigned to a joint-agency task force to root out corruption and crime and save the world. The cast also includes Ana Ortiz, Tyler James Williams, Vir Das, and Josh Hopkins.
Even though ABC announced Whiskey Cavalier‘s cancellation earlier this month, the network is reportedly reconsidering their decision after fans launched a campaign to save the show and the season one finale earned strong ratings.
Overall, season one of Whiskey Cavalier averaged a .57 rating in the 18-49 demo and 3.347 million viewers. While the finale increased ratings by nearly 60%, that still leaves the freshman drama in the bottom 10 for ABC’s 2019-20 season.
Nevertheless, ABC is exploring bringing Whiskey Cavalier back for another season. As of reporting, no decisions have been made.

I had dvr’d the first few episodes. I have not had the time to watch them, figuring I’d “binge watch” them. Then they announced that they were canceled, so I didn’t want to get involved in a series only to be left hanging. There were too many I loved this season that did not make it to a second season.
Bring it back. It just got better and better.
Please renew Whiskey Cavalier. I really enjoy the great cast and fun plots. After the cancellation of “Timeless” it took a while for me to find another show that was as enjoyable to watch. Please renew it.

Plots are good, not crazy about Scott Foley’s “empathy” thing, a little overdone. Dialog could be improved. Like the pace and the visuals, but frankly we stopped watching because of the dialog and empathy. Definitely would give a second season another try
