Nickelodeon had a big hit with their Every Witch Way TV show but the cable channel decided to cancel the telenovela series after four seasons. That led to a spin-off series, WITS Academy, but now that show’s been cancelled as well.
WITS Academy follows “Guardian in training” Andi Cruz (Daniela Nieves) at the esteemed school for Witches and Wizards in Training. While trying to live up to expectations, she must get two of the academy’s toughest students to graduate. The rest of the cast includes Julia Antonella, Jailen Bates, Kennedy Lea Slocum, Meg Crosbie, Timothy Colombos, Ryan Cargill, Andrew Ortega, Lidya Jewett, Tyler Perez, Jazzy Williams, and Todd Allen Durkin.
The series debuted last October and ran daily for four weeks. The 20 episodes attracted about 1.3 million viewers and remained pretty consistent. Those numbers weren’t apparently good enough for Nickelodeon to order a second season.
The cable channel has been mum on the cancellation but castmember Durkin has not. He posted a photo from his new series on TBS and responded to follower questions asking if he was shooting season two of WITS.
He wrote, “it’s another TV show I’m doing. Wits was canceled. There is no more Wits.”
Durkin continued, “there’s no way there will be another season at this point. Nickelodeon has decided not to have another season of Wits Academy. It’s the end. Sad but true. Done. … No more Andi, Agamemnon, Cameron… All over. The end. Bye bye.”
So, it turns out that the two-part episode on October 30th will be the last episode of the series. Hopefully, the writers and producers will share how the cliffhangers would have been resolved.

I think Wits Academy should of had a season 2 it was very good!!! I loved it a lot!!!! so NO W.I.T.S. Academy shouldn’t of been canceled at all!!! I am very disappointed that it is canceled. I agree with people Season 2 should of gone on & I was expecting to see who that wizard is & why he know Andi Cruz also how he is a wizard in the first place!!!!

I dont understand why it would be canceled? why do people do the they have broken kids hearts including mine? it was a wonderful show, everyone i know loved it including me. i really want to know why they did this crule thing! I am literally crying right now i was so excited and was confused as to why it didnt come on and now my life has shattered all because someone decided “oh well i guess this is a good show but i want to kill kids dreams and ruin they’re lives”. Uhh the jerks!
Yeah. This show was very good and I am sad to see it go. I just hope that sometime in the future, there will be a show as good as Every Witch Way and this one that can keep me hooked for hours. It’s been a long time since that happens and my childhood is slowly fading. I really wish that the writers do not give up on this idea and use t for a great show someday.
We love this series I hope that will continue nickelodeon I really liked when I learned that it no longer will be season 2 to tears I hope season 2 August will

I only recently stumbled upon Every Witch Way…watched every episode in every season…absolutely loved it. Then I found WITS Academy…half way through the season and just found out there isn’t a second season. What the heck? Both programs are awesome. I think WITS Academy should continue. Perhaps bring in new faces. If Andy is past her years in this show, either bring in new blood or have her return as an older one…perhaps show her as being the Guardian she trained so hard to be. Hi the TV series Witches Academy. I watched season 1. I really liked it. I’m just in awe. Every day and every night I review every episode and cannot get enough. I think you need to continue shooting season 2. Many will like it. Especially me. Especially since many actors are already familiar to me. Please remove season 2 of Witches of the Academy. This is a very interesting and addictive TV series. Love The Academy Of Witches. I wish you luck and hope that you will continue to shoot season 2 of the Academy of witches.
