Fuller House arrived on Netflix on Friday, and it appears to be a huge success. The series was a trending topic over the weekend, and now fans are waiting for word on season two of the series.
Reviews for the revival have not been all that great, but Jeff Franklin is not at all worried about the critics. He knows people wanted this revival, and it looks like they want even more of it.
According to MTV, Franklin said the following about the critics:
“When Full House came on the air, the reviews were scathing. We got an F in People magazine. All of the critics hated the show. It wasn’t until Season 4 or 5 that we started to see good reviews. The critics started to lighten up on us. The reviews have not been wonderful on Fuller House so far. I don’t want to say we’re review-proof, but I don’t think our fans really care what the critics have to say. I think the critics are taking the show way too seriously. They’re there to have fun writing scathing reviews — they love that. But they seem to be missing the point that this show is about fun. It’s comfort food. It’s revisiting the past. It’s not to be taken that seriously.”
Franklin is fairly positive that the series will be picked up for a second season. TV Series Finale shared in a previous report that Franklin feels like Netflix will definitely renew Fuller House for a second season.

Please cancel this garbage
I think its not fair that “Fuller House” is on netflex instead of regular TV. Afer al he year watching it would be nice. not everyone hasnetflex. please rethig that.
+Phyllis:they tried getting it on tv but the tv channels never got why Jeff wanted to continue the show Netflix got why Jeff wanted to continue plus with it airing on Netflix it has a better chance of lasting as long as the original despite haters.
Just finished watching and I, WE LOVED IT! One of my favorite shows growing up and now watching this revival with my kids is great…..can’t wait for season 2.
From what has been on other sites, these comments seem fake! This is NOT family friendly! Discussing masterbation, Stephnie’s boobs, showing cleavage, cursing, and girls on girls kissing is not what I call rated G! The acting was awful along with all of that. Netflix has a lot of nerve rating something G and having trash in it. If people want to watch it,..who cares…but don’t have it rated G
+Cathy:It is family friendly it is just a more adult version of the parent show plus kids are a lot smarter now and never notice the adult jokes that get put in so the creators do not need to be as innoncent as they were with the parent show. Because the parent show had the same stuff in it. No one noticed. It grew up with the original fans plus the adult humor is for adults to laugh at not kids but it also has kid humor in it that kids get there for it is family friendly. It is… Read more »

keep the show,it is the best still funny and still has the greatest cast
Incredible show. And it was renewed already 🙂
I watched the first episode and couldn’t bear to watch any further. This show is the embodiment of cringeworthy awfulness.
+Some Guy Named Ty:it gets better with each epsoide
I have 2 girls, 9 and 6 they both love full house more than any other cartoon out there which honestly crappy compared to our old school cartoons….they’re even have the series in auto dvr recording and when Fuller House premiered on Friday night we looved it!! some parts even made me cry…can’t wait for season 2 and maybe the Olsens to be part of it… 🙂
LOVE, LOVE, LOVE IT!!!!!! I hope they can get one or both of the Olsen twins back too!! They all have been down different paths in life and have reunited. This show has such a good family feeling. Thank you Netflix!!!
It’s already been approved for season 2 of the show. It’s all over the internet. I believe the fan base is strong enough to keep this series alive. Ik we will continue to see more seasons.
+Jessica L:plus I really do not think Netflix, the creator and the executive producer really even truly care if the show has haters they will keep it alive for the fans who love it.
I don’t like the show. Therefore, I don’t watch the show. There, problem solved.
