It looks like the vacation is over. Recently, Jeff Dye confirmed that NBC has cancelled Better Late Than Never after two seasons.
The reality show follows Henry Winkler, William Shatner, Terry Bradshaw, and George Foreman as they travel the world with both help and misdirection from tech-savvy comedian Jeff Dye.
On Twitter, Dye revealed NBC has decided not to renew Better Late Than Never. The series wrapped its second season in February with an average rating of .91 in the 18-49 demo and 4.819 million viewers. That’s a nearly 40% drop in ratings from season one.

What do you think? Have you seen Better Late Than Never? Are you sad it’s been cancelled?
Wow … I hate to hear that! Incredibly funny show!
These are guys we grew up with. The polling should’ve been done on people from age 30 to 65.
Age 18 has never even heard of Henry Winkler or William Shatner or Terry Bradshaw why would you poll 18 to 30-year-olds at all for this type of show?
Super show that I hope gets picked up by another network.
NBC …. You really screwed up canceling this show.
This is your “last man standing “ screw up!
Hire smarter, more experienced analysts…. please!
Terrific show, there was no advertising season two, so I missed it initially, but after not seeing it for awhile I checked “on demand” and watched season two a little late. Loved season one, the guys are funny and entertaining, give them another chance, but let viewers know when the show will air.
very sad it won’t be back we really enjoyed it I hope they reconsider-even a trunked version
LOVED this show! We have built a following for it amongst our friends and we have all been waiting for it’s renewal. We will all miss enjoying a laugh together. Hoping another station will pick up this show …PLEASE?? How about a DVD?
I can’t believe they would cancel such a wonderful show. With so much being aired these days of bad and negative and hurtful this show was so uplifting and always made me feel good and I told a lot of people about it. I’m going to say a prayer that another network would pick them up because we need more TV that makes people feel good
That sucks. Loved the show.
With all of the horrible events going on in this world today, this is a refreshing program that takes my mind off of the news and killings, etc. I love to laugh, but not much on TV is funny This is an amazing show with 4 guys who have an awesome mix with each other What a great cast. I love this show, please don’t cancel it. We all need something funny in our lives and this is it. Maybe if NBC doesn’t want it, TLC will pick it up…it is worth saving…..
OH MY LORD !! What a GREAT Show and NOW it won’t be RETURNING ?? I am SAD !! BOO-HOO !!! I LOVE WATCHING THESE GUYS AND THE SHOW !! COME ON , AMERICA , LOVE OUR FIVE GUYS SHOW OF “BETTER LATE THAN NEVER” !!! XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX
I am disappointed that Better Late Than Never is cancelled. There are not enough comedy showes on TV. I am sooooo upset
This is really disappointing! There are very few shows my entire family can watch together anymore, and this was one of them.
Well I enjoyed the first season. The second season well not so much. I think if they didn’t make it so so dramatic near the end. I think it would’ve been easy for him to make a third season. But it was too dramatic Much ego involved.Overall though first season was the best second season not so much. Can believe NBC cancel this. Do I like it being canceled no but as I said it’s believable that they did.
NBC should cancel Leno’s garage and I left this one.
I love that show and all of those guys why did it have to be cancelled all the good shows get cancelled but all the rotten ones dont mor fare.
I can’t believe NBC cancelled this awesome show. It was so funny. We as a country don’t laugh as nearly as much as we should these days and they cancel one of the funniest and sweetest show between a group of friends. I am so sad. I’ve been waiting for it to come on this summer. ☹
Another family here, super sad and disappointed that ‘Better Late Than Never’ was not renewed!! Loved watching the friendships with all the guys. Was one I could get my 15 yr old to watch with us and totally enjoy it!! Most everything thing else on TV nowadays is not worth watching…
I can’t believe NBC cancelled this show. It show was a great show…entertaining and funny. The 5 guys interacted so well together. NBC never really supported Star Trek -TOS and now they are doing it again. The suits should be ashamed of themselves.
