It looks like the vacation is over. Recently, Jeff Dye confirmed that NBC has cancelled Better Late Than Never after two seasons.
The reality show follows Henry Winkler, William Shatner, Terry Bradshaw, and George Foreman as they travel the world with both help and misdirection from tech-savvy comedian Jeff Dye.
On Twitter, Dye revealed NBC has decided not to renew Better Late Than Never. The series wrapped its second season in February with an average rating of .91 in the 18-49 demo and 4.819 million viewers. That’s a nearly 40% drop in ratings from season one.

What do you think? Have you seen Better Late Than Never? Are you sad it’s been cancelled?
Why would you cancel the best show on tv. My husband and I have never laughed so much and so hard. Finally a show that the older generation can enjoy. During all the turmoil going on in this country it was wonderful to have a show full of great scenes, information and full of laughs. Instead you have shows of violence and sex.
I love better late than never and am very disappointed that it has been discontinued. Please reconsider.
Please bting back the TV Show …Better Late Than Never. Thank you.
Yes, I missed it yhid summer. When it was on at least therr eas something nee snd enjoysble to watch. NBC should bring it back in the
summer months.
I am so sorry this show was canceled. This is one show thant I have watched more than once and still laugh. I keep it on my DVR just so I can watch with others. After losing my husband last year, it was good to be able to laugh again. By the way, he also loved the show and would laugh so hard. If you are thinking this show only appeals to us baby boomers, you would be wrong. My son has watched with me and laughed even harder than I did. With so many violent and negative immages brought… Read more »
My husband and I love this show!! We laughed so hard we had tears running down our cheeks.
Loved the show!! Disappointed it has been cancelled. It was very funny, made me laugh out loud.
Great show. What is there now discrimination against senior citizens? Also what is this demografic stuff? Do only people between the ages of 18 – 49 watch tv?. Someone please pick up this show.
This is dissapointing news. My husband and I had belly laughs watching this show.
Please reconsider your decision
What a shame! One of the funniest shows ever…
Bring it back!!!
Please bring Better Late Than Never back for another season. We enjoyed the show immensely. The guys were icons we grew up watching & it was great to see that they are still vibrant in later years. There is a chemistry between them that is just wonderful. There is a lot of violent, nasty shows on television right now. This was a show a person could really enjoy. We are in the over 60 demographic, maybe our opinions should count more!
Really, Really hate to hear the guy’s won’t be traveling again!! We loved watching their crazy escapades!! Bring them back!!
Please bring back Better Late than never!! We loved watching this show!! The guys were all so funny and made us laugh, plus it shows a lot of ppl getting old doesnt mean you have to sit at home on a rocking chair watching life go by! NBC dont make the mistake no one wants to watch those other reality shows of the Kadarshians and all the other brain dead reality shows!! Who cares about those air head Rich ppl and how they live!! A lot of ppl want to watch a comedy reality show!! So bring Back Better Late… Read more »
We really enjoyed-did a lot of healthy laughing! We were looking forward to season 3…
NOOOOOO , All of the ladies in my neighborhood would get together to watch this. What’s the problem is it to “clean” for that TV network to be broadcasting some good, funny stuff ? We all enjoyed the show I’m sad to hear they canceled it. Go to another network!
I agree with you Nancy! Heaven forbid about the ratings! This is good funny humor! If NBC doesn’t want it, then give it to Netflix! I love this show & the cast! I was looking forward as well as many others to see season 3! Keep good funny shows on…cancel the many boring stupid other shows out there! Leave the ones like this one alone for us to enjoy & laugh to! Shame on you NBC!
