It looks like the vacation is over. Recently, Jeff Dye confirmed that NBC has cancelled Better Late Than Never after two seasons.
The reality show follows Henry Winkler, William Shatner, Terry Bradshaw, and George Foreman as they travel the world with both help and misdirection from tech-savvy comedian Jeff Dye.
On Twitter, Dye revealed NBC has decided not to renew Better Late Than Never. The series wrapped its second season in February with an average rating of .91 in the 18-49 demo and 4.819 million viewers. That’s a nearly 40% drop in ratings from season one.

What do you think? Have you seen Better Late Than Never? Are you sad it’s been cancelled?
My husband and I loved the show. All of the actors were hilarious. It was a great show. There should have been more advertisement though. I know a lot of my friends didn’t know about it until I told them. That was after season 1 was already done.
I loved this show. I never knew the second season aired until it was over. If the ratings were bad, then NBC should be blaming their advertising Dept.
Very sad to hear that Better Late than Never has been its a show older A,
Mexicans can enjoy and it’s wrong.
Love better late than never. So funny.
Season one was better than season 2 however I will still miss it. Please have another network pick it up
Season 1 was better than season 2 however I’ll miss it. Get another network to pick it up
lighten up NBC bring the boys back ……..the country needs some laughter and goofyness especially after the moron in the whitehouse
So sorry to see this cancelled. We loved watching the actors we grew up with and how they deal with old age as we do. Very funny show and will miss it. Probably will have more crime crap instead. You go guys!
OH no, my husband and I loved that show, it made us laugh so much…we need more laughter and shows representing seniors having fun..who do we write to protest this , maybe get another network to take it on…Canada loves you guys…
Write/email/call NBC as Jeff suggested. That’s what I’m going to do. Like you, I absolutely loved the show.I don’t believe I ever laughed so much at a series.
I’m sad to see this cancelled. I enjoyed seeing all the exotic places these guys visited. The guys are hilarious and a lot of fun to watch. I really looked forward to each new adventure and will miss this show a lot. NBC is making a mistake canceling it. It’s one of the few shows on their network that I watched. They are or have cancelled everything worth watching. Thankfully CBS has a lot of good programs. Too bad NBC & ABC don’t do a better job.
I will also missBetter Late Than Never all you guy’s crack me up! A great clean cut show and they cancel it. Thank you for the laughs you guy’s. I enjoyed all seasons!
Please contact NBC about cancellation via phone/letter/email. They need to know how we feel. I loved going on the many adventures that Bill, Terry, Henry, George and Jeff went on. I was living thru them seeing all the exotic places they visited. There isn’t another show out there that has made me laugh so much and sometimes cry.
PLEASE write/call/email NBC as Jeff Dye suggested. I am absolutely shocked at it being canceled. I loved going on adventures with Bill, Terry, George, Henry and Jeff. There’s not another show out there that could make me laugh as much as BLTN. I am definitely going to contact NBC!!
If I like it, it’s gone. Back to Netflix…
Bring back Better Late Than Never! We love these guys!
Contact NBC about their cancellation of BLTN as Jeff Dye suggested. Maybe we can make a difference.
I think NBC made a huge mistake by cancelling Better Late Than Never ! This was a show my family could watch together . We loved it. Very sad.

Typical network decision, especially NBC. Cancel a great funny show. I was so looking forward to another season This show was so much better than all the other reality shows like Bachelor and Bachelorette etc. Maybe you should be concerned about other demographics besides the 18-49 demo. Most of them are streaming other crap anyhow and could care about regular TV shows.
Just one more note. I didn’t check my previous 2 comments for spelling. I am a recently retired middle class American who does watch a lot of TV, mostly sports and some hand picked tasteful shows such as Blue Bloods and of course Better Late Than Never. Just wanted the people that left comments and others that read all the comments to know I do know how to spell. I was just in a hurry to leave my thoughts to hopefully help get NBC to rethink their decision to cancel a funny, witty series that I loved enough to watch… Read more »
