Big Brother is likely to return this summer for its 22nd season, but fans will not see the series return in June. Us Magazine did make a reveal, however — fans may possibly see another all-star season.
CBS has reportedly been reaching out to past winners and contestants about returning to the series for another round of Big Brother. Some of those approached have said “no” due to Covid-19 concerns.
Covid-19 concerns will likely cause some changes for the production of the series. Us revealed the following:
“Because of the coronavirus, season 22 will look a little different as the season will likely start later than the usual June premiere date. According to insiders, players will also have to be sequestered longer than usual and will have to quarantine for 14 days before entering the game to ensure they are healthy.”
It isn’t known exactly when the series will return, but the plan is still to have the show air at some point this summer, possibly airing into the fall.

I don’t care when it starts but I will tune into BB. Watched it every year and when it is over I’m sad cause I have to wait a year for it to come back. I like the regular BB better than the celebrities but will watch anyway. It’s addicting.
Big Brother has been my favorite show since the first season. I live in fear every year that it wont come back. It is reassuring to know they will return eventually. It doesn’t matter if it’s regular Big Brother or All Stars or Celebrity…i love them all.
I wait all year for Big Brother to come on. I watch live feeds and after dark. I just can’t get enough, I love it so much!

No, please not another season of selfish, self absorbed, rich ********. Bring back the common people That’s what most people want to watch. A cast that we don’t know and can form opinions of as the game progresses. PLEASE NO CELEBRITIES!!!

I agree, cancel this crap. I do disagree w/Laurie. Hated Tommy & broke but I love THE AMAZING RACE & can’t wait for that to return.
Apparently, CBS already has the 32nd season of TAR on the shelf, ready to go, but they’re waiting until they have nothing else to air. Pity. Heard it was all new regular people, a back to basics season, so I’m really excited for it.

No NOT a FAN I really wish you would cancel this show. You cancel funny show’s like man with a plan, and broke, and Tommy. But keep crappy show’s like big brother and amazing race. For once do the right thing.
All those shows you mentioned were horrible and deserved to be canceled. Big Brother is the best show on TV and should be renewed for many years to come.
Big Brother in my book is a mess that I won’t watch at all after the less than 2 or 3 minutes I tried to swallow.I await the day it is cancelled.
