What’s This TV Show About?
An NBC action thriller, The Blacklist stars James Spader, Megan Boone, Diego Klattenhoff, Amir Arison, Mozhan Marnò, Hisham Tawfiq, and Harry Lennix. The crime drama centers on one of the FBI’s most wanted fugitives, Raymond “Red” Reddington (Spader), who offers to help the authorities, if rookie agent Elizabeth Keen (Boone) partners with him. In season six, following revelations that Red is not who he claimed to be, Liz is determined to get to the truth, even while Red continues to build his empire and eliminate his rivals.
Season Six Ratings
The sixth season of The Blacklist averaged a 0.57 rating in the 18-49 demographic and 4.00 million total viewers. Compared to season five, that is down by 38% and 29%, respectively. Find out how The Blacklist stacks up against the other NBC TV shows.

Telly’s Take
Will NBC cancel or renew The Blacklist for season seven? The numbers are way down, yet again, so I feel like this show will end this year or next. This show’s fate has gotten harder to call over the years, and the cancellation of the spin-off didn’t help matters. If the network had a replacement in place, it might be easier to bid the original adieu. For now, I’ll keep a hungry eye on the Nielsens and update this page with breaking developments. What about those of us who wait for the season to end, and then binge on such by streaming it? Many are no longer watching shows on television airwaves anymore…they are turning to commercial free streaming. I absolutely love The Blacklist, but never watch it when such is first aired…
We enjoy James Spader and this program. Elizabeth and Jennifer do nothing for the character assignments. I wish the network would move it to 9:00 p.m. on Wednesday, and leave it there. I would think it could flourish and have a long life span, if left alone.They purposely move it helter skelter and cancel it for other programs they deem more important (which aren’t).
Love the Blacklist! All the characters are interesting ..especially Redmond!

I love the Blacklist. Please do not cancel this show!!!! I think no matter what Redmond has done, he is still the Bomb!!!! I mean that in a good sense!!! Now that Red has found out who put him behind bars in the first place. I would like to see how Elizabeth explains her way out of this to Red & also see if she ever gets back into his good graces!!! DO NOT KILL REDMOND REDDINGTON!! PLEASE & THANK YOU
Please renew one of the best programs on in a very long time. The writers a great! The suspense and thrill is so entertaining. Always fun to try to figure bbn out who did what. Red’s sence if humor is the best!
Red is so alluring and mesmerizingly loveable and for 6 years has been a staple in our household. The Blacklist has such a wonderful double life for a crime show. We see the other world and the deep dark crimes that go on behind the scenes of the world and right along with that we are pulled into such a wonderful family drama!! I love the Blacklist and would be devasted if it is quickly ended and not gave the justice it deserves to come to a finale’! Don’t cancel Blacklist just yet!! There is more still to come!!

Blacklist is a dynamic show that encapsulates its viewers and we are serious over this show. James Spaders character is meticulously mesmerizing and we need it to continue for many years to come.
Do not cancel Blacklist! James Spader is the only one who could play Red. Friday night slot is hard to get huger ratings. Change the night. If you cancel Blacklist. Find another show for James Spader quickly. Would love Spader, Boone and Hisham Tawfiq., together again. Don’t cancel the best crime suspenseful show on TV. The whole cast just gels together perfectly. Give us season 7. Or another show, with the Cast!
james spader needs to be on tv, he makes everything better with himon it. keep blacklist on or a new show quickly.
If it does get cancelled, they need to get Spader something else, quickly. The man is interesting to watch and he makes this show.
