What’s This TV Show About?
Airing on the CBS television network, Blue Bloods stars Tom Selleck, Donnie Wahlberg, Bridget Moynahan, Will Estes, Len Cariou, Marisa Ramirez, Sami Gayle, and Vanessa Ray. The show revolves around the Reagans, a multi-generational family of cops that’s dedicated to New York City law enforcement. Patriarch Frank Reagan (Selleck) is the New York Police Commissioner and runs his department as diplomatically as he runs his family. His unapologetically bold father, Henry (Cariou), previously served a stint as Chief. A source of pride and concern for Frank is his eldest son, Danny (Wahlberg), a seasoned detective, family man and Iraq War vet. Danny sometimes uses dubious tactics to solve cases with his partner, Detective Maria Baez (Ramirez). Frank’s daughter, Erin (Moynahan), is a New York Assistant D.A. who is also a single parent to her teenage daughter, Nicky (Gayle). Frank’s youngest is Jamie (Estes), a Harvard Law graduate and the family’s “golden boy.” He passed on a lucrative future in law and follows in the family footsteps as a cop. Eddie Janko (Ray), Jamie’s female partner and eventual wife, keeps him on his toes.

Blue Bloods is one of the best shows on television, actually its THE best show on television!! It’s exciting, the story line always grabs your attention!! The family, The Reagans, they still have morals, they value family, they are loyal, they are honest!! They have the kind of family that a lot of people wish they had for themselves!!! I think this show could last as long as Law and Order SVU and/or even longer, IF, the actors/tresses realize they have a good thing and do not bite the hand that feeds them. Please keep it on the air!! It… Read more »
I love love love this show. Every character has so much to offer to the story lines. And, the chosen actors and actresses make these characters come alive. That being said, I don’t think I would make the time to watch Blue Bloods without Tom Selleck at the helm. So, if he chooses to retire from his role, you might as well cancel it, in my humble opinion.
PLEASE keep Blue Bloods going ! It’s been our comfort food for many years .
They had us ever since we saw their first family dinner despite any family squabbles was to be a weekly tradition. It’s a quality show that deserves respect .
Sincerely ,
Lyndan
Please don’t cancel blue bloods I have been watching this show since it first came on. I even watch all the reruns on ion.
Blue Bloods is a “family “ show where anyone can watch unlike a lot of other tv shows. It’s. Great because they show values, actually Pray and eat together . The other tv stations should follow in their footsteps. Tom Selleck shows class as do all the actors and actresses. I love this tv show and hope it doesn’t get cancelled. Keeping this show on has shown that the Director is a great person with guts , I’m sure most would love to see it gone. God Bless you all !
I am a fan of Blue Bloods. The kind that gets anxious when one of the Reagans is in trouble. Please keep it on for a long time.
If you are going to continue to be somewhat family friendly, please don’t cancel.
I plan my Friday nights around watching Blue Bloods and would be sad if the show were cancelled. I really like the dinner conversations and miss it when they don’t say Grace (the blessing). The family gathering around the table supporting one another and commiserating about work is one of my favorite parts of the show.
Fri night is my tv night. They have takern Hawii of please don’t take Blue loods .
