Blue Bloods is ending, but one star of the CBS series is not ready to say goodbye yet. Tom Selleck, who plays NYPD Police Commissioner Frank Reagan, recently spoke about the series ending with TV Insider.
Starring Selleck, Donnie Wahlberg, Bridget Moynahan, Will Estes, Len Cariou, Marisa Ramirez, and Vanessa Ray, the Blue Bloods series follows a family of law enforcement officers living and working in New York City.
CBS has announced that Blue Bloods will be ending with the upcoming 14th season, which will be split into two parts. The first part will debut on February 16th, and run for ten episodes. The remaining eight installments will begin airing in the fall.
It appears that Selleck doesn’t agree with the decision to end Blue Bloods and said the following:
“CBS will find an awful lot of people aren’t ready to say goodbye to it. The show’s more popular than ever, and I think [numbers] will increase with the interest this year. We’re certainly not out of ideas.
I’m not counting the days so I can do something else. I love the work. Sometimes the hours are a little harder because I’m older, but so what? I want work as long as they’ll have me.”

Please dont take Blue Bloods off. I look forward ever friday to watching BB. I love the cast and there is so much more to this store line.

I want the show to continue. My absolute favorite show! It’s the only show my husband will stay awake to watch. My children and grandchildren love this show too.
The show has a great balance considering all the personalities and the stories every week so whoever writes does a great job!

I love Blue Bloods please do not end the series. Please also show Joe in the episodes his a Reagan after all.
I think this is one of the best shows on tv. The networks are driving us away with all these cancellations since the strike. It sucks.
